General Hospital: Is Willow’s Not Guilty Verdict a License to Kill?
On General Hospital, the jury has spoken, and accordingly, Willow Cain is officially not guilty of shooting her husband, Drew.
Willow Isn’t Innocent on General Hospital

Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) may have been found not guilty, but as Jason (Steve Burton) explained to Drew recently, it doesn’t make her innocent.
But while most viewers didn’t shed a tear for Drew getting shot, it can’t be overlooked that she’s been side-by-side with her victim for months, looking him in the eye, and swearing her undying love for him.
But let’s be real for a second: Willow is dangerous.
The evidence — which Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) suspiciously sat on until it was too late — suggests Willow put two bullets in her husband’s back. You don’t shoot someone in the back by accident, pause, and then decide to take a second shot. That is premeditated, if even only for a moment.
Who Else Is On Willow’s Hit List?

For years, we’ve watched Willow play the saintly cult survivor, the grieving mother, and the martyr of the Quartermaine gatehouse. But this trial peeled back the mask. We saw a woman who looked her ex-husband, Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson), in the eye and demanded custody of their kids while actively hiding a smoking gun.
Now that she has gotten away with it, who is next? The double jeopardy protection means she can’t be tried for shooting Drew again. That implies one terrifying thing (well, for Drew anyway): She can try to finish the job.
Drew is currently the only thing standing between Willow and a “happy family” fantasy, but how is Willow seeing her newfound freedom? Sure, she’s relieved, but did getting away with attempted murder just go to her head?
If Michael continues to block her access to the children to “protect” them from Drew, Willow might decide that Michael is just another obstacle that needs to be removed. Or maybe she’ll continue to blame Drew, and knowing that Michael’s on the hotseat, hit two birds with one stone and pile more accusations onto her ex by hurting her husband again.
Alexis Davis may have won the case, but she might have just unleashed a sleeping monster on Port Charles.
Was this always in Willow? Should some people sleep with one eye open with Willow free? Tell us your thoughts in the comments.
