General Hospital: Curtis and Sidwell Becoming Cellmates Could Endanger Jordan and Empower Drew
General Hospital has put Curtis Ashford and Jenz Sidwell in the same prison, and that pairing could be far more dangerous than anyone outside the bars realizes. Curtis checked into Pentonville after being convicted of assaulting Isaiah Gannon and sentenced to 10 years. While the villainous Sidwell could have a very specific reason for taking an interest in his new roommate, someone else entirely might have a hidden plan for both men.
Sidwell Wants Payback Against Jordan

The German clinic offer left unfinished business between Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) and Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper). When Jordan admitted she worked undercover and double-crossed him, Sidwell was furious. He truly believed she was working for him, only to find out she gathered information, and intended to bring him down the whole time.
Sidwell knew how much Jordan wanted to heal the scars from her accident. He offered to arrange treatment at the European burn clinic that helped Michael, moving her to the front of the line and covering the cost. The catch? Jordan had to go to Zurich and retrieve his money. She refused, and Sidwell promised to make her suffer.
This threat makes Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) the worst cellmate possible. Curtis is not just Jordan’s former husband; he is the man she is actively building a life with again. If Sidwell wants to hurt Jordan, Curtis provides a direct line to her.
Sidwell Could Make Curtis Do His Dirty Work

Jenz already used the scar treatment as a bargaining chip, hoping Jordan’s physical insecurities would force her to retrieve his money. Now, he might manipulate Curtis into helping — if he can convince him that cooperation protects Jordan rather than hurts her.
Sidwell could offer a simple deal: get Jordan to cooperate and retrieve the money, and she gets her surgery. If that smooth talking fails, threats remain an option.
Curtis is walking into Pentonville at an especially vulnerable point in his life. He faces a decade behind bars (though out in two if lucky), separation from his daughter Trina (Tabyana Ali), and a missed chance to be part of raising his new baby, Desmond. Sidwell repeatedly relies on blackmail and coercion to get what he wants, even threatening children to achieve his goals.
Someone Else Was Thinking When Curtis Wasn’t

Curtis was not looking ahead. He passed on a plea deal, convinced a jury would see his side. He found out the hard way he was wrong, but was someone else doing his thinking for him while he obsessed over Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson)?
Drew Cain (Caremon Mathison) took Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) aback last week when he claimed he wanted to apologize to her and Curtis. Sure, he told Ava (Maura West) he was shortening his enemy list, and he might genuinely want to stop hurting Portia. But a changed man? Hardly.
If anything motivates Drew professionally and personally, it is self-interest. Drew wants to bring down Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), and he wants Sidwell’s remaining assets. He did not suddenly offer to testify for Curtis out of the goodness of his heart; he saw an opportunity.
With Drew also headed to Pentonville, you can bet he will seize the chance to play the savior for Curtis. Drew has already positioned himself as a corporate advisor for Aurora, knowing Jordan’s insider information on Sidwell could help him seize those assets. If he gains their trust, Drew could easily step in to “help” if Jordan leaves for the Zurich burn clinic. If that day comes, both Jordan and Curtis could deeply regret letting their guard down around Drew Cain.
