Days of our Lives Spoilers Video Preview: Xander Investigates DiMera, Marlena Reflects on 50 Years, and Belle and Chad Unlock a Clue

Get ready, Salem! Next week in the Days of our Lives spoilers video preview, Xander is asked a favor just as Holly lands in the hospital with Coriseal in her system. What begins as a medical emergency quickly raises bigger questions when Xander starts looking for information on DiMera Pharmaceuticals from two years ago, while Sarah and Brady keep digging into the recent Coriseal deaths. If Holly’s collapse is tied to something much larger, Salem may be on the verge of uncovering another dangerous chapter in the drug’s history.

At the same time, Marlena’s 50th year in Salem gets the spotlight in a special episode as Paul and Andrew return to help her revisit some of the most important moments of her life, while Belle and Chad’s chessboard mystery takes another turn once they unlock a new compartment and discover a clue Stefano clearly meant someone to find. Between the Coriseal investigation, a milestone Salem tribute, and a fresh DiMera puzzle beginning to unfold, next week’s preview covers a lot of ground — and some of it may be leading to places Salem has not fully reckoned with yet.

Xander’s search for answers could expose a bigger Coriseal mystery

Xander (Paul Telfer) finds himself pulled into the Coriseal story in a new way after Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) is hospitalized, and it is revealed that she had the drug in her system. That discovery alone is alarming, but at Sarah’s request, Xander asks for information on DiMera Pharmaceuticals from two years ago. Will he find a connection between Holly’s collapse, the recent Coriseal deaths, and whatever DiMera was doing behind the scenes?

The week’s daily spoilers make it clear that the investigation is not slowing down. Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) and Brady (Eric Martsolf) dig deeper into the Coriseal deaths on Wednesday, and after Holly collapses, the story only grows more urgent. By Thursday, Holly shares a theory with Tate (Leo Howard) while Sarah confides in Brady, suggesting that the people closest to the case may be starting to connect the dots they do not like.

That storyline also overlaps with Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord) and the still-lingering mystery surrounding EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel), Dr. Rolf, and the miracle drug used on Lexie. Colton tells Cat that he agrees with Rafe that getting closer to EJ is dangerous and may not even pay off, since they do not believe EJ will ever reveal what he knows. Cat, however, is far less discouraged than everyone around her. If she is right that she has already made progress, Xander’s search into DiMera’s past may not be the only threat closing in on EJ.

Marlena’s 50th year in Salem takes center stage

The week also brings a very different kind of Salem story as Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) reflects on fifty years in town in a special anniversary episode. Paul Narita (Christopher Sean) and Andrew Donovan (Colton Little) return for the occasion, and rather than simply dropping in for a quick visit, they help anchor the episode by joining Marlena as she looks back through a photo album and revisits key moments from her long history in Salem.

That setup should give the episode room to honor not just Marlena’s personal history, but also the many eras of Days she has helped define. From family milestones and heartbreaks to some of the show’s strangest and most unforgettable detours, there is no shortage of material to revisit when it comes to Marlena. Bringing Paul and Andrew into the episode gives it a family dimension too, which should help the celebration feel personal rather than purely retrospective.

Belle and Chad’s chessboard clue could send them deeper into Stefano’s secrets

Meanwhile, Belle (Martha Madison) and Chad (Conner Floyd) continue making progress in the mystery hidden inside Stefano’s old chess set. After discovering the key and keyhole, they manage to get inside the chess box and find a new clue: an Italian thousand-dollar bill. For most people, that would be baffling enough. For anyone dealing with Stefano DiMera’s posthumous games, it is practically an engraved invitation to keep digging.

By Friday, they are still unraveling the mystery of Stefano’s chess set, so this is clearly not a one-scene detour. It is the start of a larger trail, one that may lead them into a piece of DiMera history they were not expecting to chase. Stefano was never one for simple scavenger hunts, and he left that bill to find as a first clue.

Between Belle’s family ties to the Pawn and Chad’s DiMera instincts about his father, the two of them make a logical pair to follow Stefano’s breadcrumbs — even if those breadcrumbs are likely to lead somewhere far more complicated than either of them realizes.
