Days of our Lives Recap: Theo Backs Gabi, Chanel Agrees To Chemo, and Lexie’s Condition Worsens

TL;DR: In today’s Days of our Lives recap, Chanel shares her chemotherapy treatment plan with Paulina, while Theo makes a major decision regarding Gabi’s DiMera inheritance. Kate finally comes clean to Roman about the lawsuit, and EJ promises to help Lexie as her health worsens.

Days of our Lives Recap June 11

Kate found Roman sweeping and asked him to stop so they could have a serious talk. Kate told Roman that she lied about setting Johnny up for the lawsuit. Roman was furious and wanted to know why she was finally telling the truth now.

Kate admitted that Xander was telling Johnny, and she didn’t want him to find out from someone else. Kate tried to say it would have gotten Johnny out of DiMera, as Roman wanted.

Xander Tries to Make Amends While Johnny Focuses on Chanel

At DiMera, Xander came by to see Johnny and give him an apology, but found Theo instead. Theo wouldn’t tell him why Johnny wasn’t there, but implied he had something more important going on.

At the hospital, Johnny and Chanel talked to Sarah about her new oncologist, and Chanel felt she was a much better fit. She also shared that she’d decided to start chemotherapy.
After their appointment, Johnny went to work and explained to Theo that work couldn’t be a top priority at the moment. Theo offered to take care of DiMera in his absence so he could focus on Chanel and his family. Theo told Johnny the news that Xander came by and they were dropping the lawsuit.

Chanel Shares Her Treatment Plan With Paulina

Meanwhile, Chanel went home and told her mom she was going to start chemo; Paulina was relieved to hear it. Chanel explained the process and that the plan was to stop chemo a few weeks early and induce labor. After she delivered, she’d resume chemo rounds that weren’t advised during pregnancy.
Chanel lamented that she wouldn’t be able to breastfeed, and she had been looking forward to it since she couldn’t with Trey. When Johnny came home, he told Chanel the good news. He was relieved he’d have more time to spend with their family and said Theo would help at work.
Outside in the hallway, Paulina looked at the breast cancer informational pamphlet Chanel had. At first, she was upset, but then she looked as though she had an idea.

EJ Promises Holly and Lexie That He’ll Help

In the square, EJ found Holly crying outside the cafe in the square. She told him that Amy Choi seemed intent on picking up where Sophia left off and ruining her life. EJ promised to take care of Amy for her.
Xander interrupted and told EJ to stay away from Holly. She made a quick exit as the two men bickered. Xander accused EJ of telling Gwen about Kristen; EJ told him to change his behavior if he didn’t want Sarah or anyone else to find out what he was doing.
EJ got a message to meet with Lexie, so he left immediately. When he got home, Lexie told him that Dr. Rolf said she might only have a few weeks to live. Lexie cried that she wanted to live, and EJ promised to do everything in his power to ensure that she did.

Ari Unknowingly Reveals Kate’s Request

At the Hernandez house, Ari told Gabi that she wasn’t doing as much during her internship with Johnny, not there much. She happened to mention that Kate asked her to tell her if she heard anything exciting, but there wasn’t much to report. Gabi asked her what she was talking about.
Ari explained Kate’s request, but Gabi warned her not to get in the middle of the Titan and DiMera feud. Gabi got a text from Theo asking to meet with her.

Theo Makes a Major Decision About Gabi’s Inheritance

Gabi went to see Theo, and he told her that he knew his aunts and uncles were preparing to fight Gabi for her stake in the DiMera inheritance. Theo said that as executor of Stefano’s will, he knew what his grandfather wanted.
Gabi was astounded when Theo said he’d decided she was to get the money. He said it wasn’t personal or based on feelings he might have for her. He felt the evidence backed up her claim, and it was the right thing to do. Theo said he hadn’t told the rest of his family yet, but it wasn’t up to them.
When Gabi left, she ran into Xander and told him the news. He was pleased as Titan needed the money. Gabi told him that in exchange, she needed more than his silence on the recording and would get back to him with a list.

Sarah Invites Holly and Ari to the Horton Cabin

Holly met with Sarah and told her about her conversations with Mrs. Choi and EJ. When she mentioned how Xander told EJ to stay away from her, Sarah noted that he cared a lot about her.
Ari joined them, and Sarah invited them to spend some time at the Horton cabin at the lake. She said she’d tell Julie and Maggie, and they could grab the keys any time they wanted. Once Sarah left, Ari and Holly talked about inviting Tate and Aaron to go with them and thought they could all have a lot of fun.

Paulina Makes a Desperate Plea as Lexie’s Symptoms Worsen

Paulina went to EJ’s and asked him to use Dr. Rolf’s miracle drug on Chanel. EJ declined her request, but she said he owed her for letting his project continue. EJ was upset as he repeated that he couldn’t help her and ran out of the room.
Meanwhile, Lexie went home to her apartment with Abe. She picked up a glass of water, and her hand started shaking, so she dropped it and it smashed. Theo came home as Lexie was cleaning it up, but he noticed that she wasn’t okay.
