Days of our Lives Recap Feb 13

Brady told Tate that Kristen took Rachel out of Bayview. He said he wasn’t happy about it, but he and Kristen decided to play nice.

Tate was taken aback at the deal they’d made to let Kristen move in in exchange for joint custody, but Brady explained the legal issues Kristen could’ve caused Rachel by releasing her early.

Xander and Marlena ran into one another in the square, both grimacing that it was Valentine’s Day. When Maggie and Sarah walked up behind them with Victoria, Sarah stopped in her tracks.

Maggie saw Xander and said that Victoria could see him, too. Sarah brought her over to say hi. Marlena and Maggie left to meet Julie, and Xander had a short visit with his daughter.

Sarah took Victoria to the pub and ran into Brady. Since they were both alone for Valentine’s Day, they decided to have dinner together.

Brady told Sarah all about what happened with Kristen, Rachel, and Bayview. Sarah laughed at Brady’s predicament with Kristen moving in.

Brady admitted that he picked out flowers at a florist for her, and then changed his mind as he didn’t want to send the wrong message.

“What’s the message?” Sarah asked. “That I absolutely have feelings for you and wish we were together on Valentine’s Day,” Brady replied.

What a Rush

Holly told Ari about her visit to Sophia, noting that she’d lost her skin supplements and had gone to get them. Holly acted as though her face would break out immediately without them.

Holly was anxious about their sorority rush event that evening. Holly got very tense and edgy over little things, and Ari tried to calm her nerves with some breathing techniques.

Holly wondered why Ari wasn’t stressed, but she told her that it didn’t matter as much to her as it did to Holly.

In the square, Holly and Ari joined the sorority members and introduced themselves to the president, Macy.

When Macy made a joke about Holly’s boyfriend being hot, Holly lost it on her and told her off. Holly regained control of herself and was horrified at her behavior. She ran off, leaving Ari bewildered.

Ari assured Macy that Holly wasn’t usually so hostile, but she couldn’t explain her behavior. Macy noticed that Ari was wearing Gabi Chic and was amazed that Gabi Hernandez was her mom.

Ari pleaded Holly’s case as a fit for the sorority. Macy said she sounded like her PR rep doing damage control.
Macy told Ari that she respected her for standing up for her friend. She thought Ari would be a good fit for the sorority.

Marlena, Julie, and Maggie had dinner together and talked about Victor, Doug, and John. Marlena recalled that John sent her strawberries and whipped cream at Christmas, and she thought he’d be home by Valentine’s Day.

Julie told Maggie and Marlena that Chad was going away with the kids, and Maggie noticed they were all saying goodbye. She said they would miss Brady at the house.

Maggie said that she thought it was too soon for Sarah to be in a relationship, but she’d be happy if she were with Brady one day.
Julie said she didn’t see Valentine’s Day as commercial anymore. She noted that roses were for passion, chocolate for sweetness, and hearts for love.

Julie was grateful they could give one another love and be there for each other at this time of their lives. “Amen to that,” Maggie said. Marlena was grateful to be invited, and they did a toast to the best of friends.

Xander went golfing and hit a car windshield in the parking lot with his first swing. When Gwen stomped up with her clubs, he realized it was her car that he hit.

Gwen realized Xander didn’t know how to golf and gave him some lessons. Eventually she had to put her arms around him to show him how to swing.

Holly went to Tate’s for their dinner but fell into his arms, crying. She told him what happened and how awful it was.

Tate asked if it would be so bad if she didn’t get into the sorority, as she could be spending time with him. Holly screamed at him that he was selfish and stormed out.

Tate ran out to the hallway and stopped her from leaving. He apologized for being insensitive.

Holly realized she was doing the same thing she did at the sorority mixer.

Sophia Hopes for the Best…or Worst

At Bayview, Sophia mused to herself that Holly should be enjoying her “supplements” soon. Dr. Gregory came in and told her she knew about the note she slipped to Rachel, but that she had been discharged.

Dr. Gregory hoped that Sophia would start writing more to move her therapy along, and she agreed. As soon as the doctor left the room, she talked to herself about her meds being helpful, but not the way she thought.

Sophia saw someone’s post online of Holly’s freakout in the square and laughed hysterically at her plot’s success.
