Days of our Lives Recap Feb 25: Ari Kisses Liam, Rafe and Cat Get a Tip

TL;DR: In today’s Days of our Lives recap, Holly wants to know why she feels like she’s on drugs and is pushing people away, leading Maggie to suggest a doctor visit. Rafe and Cat uncover more about Stephanie’s kidnapping, and learn the man with a scar is from Alamainia. Leo and Dimitri plot their next move to clear Dimitri’s name, while Gabi comforts Philip about Stephanie, and he comforts her about Stefan. Ari kisses Liam to hide from Gabi and Philip at Small Bar, and EJ makes a deal with Liam to tell him if he hears from the man with the scar.

Days of our Lives Recap Feb 25

In the dorm, Ari tried to convince Holly to get out of bed to come to a sorority social, but she had no energy. Ari persisted, and Holly got snippy about it. 

Holly checked her phone and saw the news that Stephanie had been kidnapped. Ari was shocked when Holly’s concern was for herself, and if it would affect her internship. Ari snapped that they, out of anyone, should know the situation that Stephanie was in and blasted her for having no empathy.

Holly eventually got up and went to see Maggie to cry about her mixed emotions and behavior lately. She swore she wasn’t taking anything but said it was reminiscent of coming down from pills. Maggie asked if she had any new medications or anything that could be causing it, but Holly said she only had the skin supplements that she’d been taking for a long time.

Maggie said she wanted ot help but didn’t know how. She suggested that Holly go see her doctor to get to the bottom of it. Holly was upset that she kept pushing Tate and Ari away and hoped she figured out why before she did more damage.

Cat and Rafe Have Questions For Jeremy

At the Hernandez house, Rafe and Cat reviewed security cam footage from the hospital and could tell he knew where the cameras were and how to evade them.

Rafe shared that the drug used to knock out the guard wasn’t available in the U.S. They wondered how Jeremy, a schoolteacher, could have had access to it.

Rafe noted that the numbers Cat had figured out on the pinpad to the lab were great, but the missing numbers still meant thousands of combinations. Cat was frustrated, but they noted that EJ’s project must be hiding in plain sight, as he didn’t have a problem with the police searching there.

Cat found out that the man with the scar was positively ID’d in the DiMera kidnappings, and he was from Alamainia.

After Cat left, Rafe got a call from Javi, who asked about Leo. Rafe said he didn’t know what he was up to — especially since he was out of town with Dimitri.

Leo and Dimitri Strategize

In their Alamanian hotel room, Leo couldn’t sleep, worrying about Vivian. Dimitri got off of his bed on the floor and sat on Leo’s while they chatted. 

Dimitri said he noticed some security gaps when they were there, and he’d use them to his advantage when he returned on his own.

Leo insisted that he went with Dimitri, even though he was scared. He said he could at least be the lookout, and suggested they get some gossip from the local florists about Vivian and when she and Ivan visit Stefan’s grave.

Leo asked what would happen if Dimitri couldn’t clear his name. Dimitri quipped that since there was no extradition treaty in Alamainia, they could just stay and make it their forever home.

Gabi and Philip Comfort Each Other

In Philip’s room, Gabi came for their dinner date, but he was too upset about Stephanie. He admitted he still felt guilty about her previous disappearance. 

Gabi comforted Philip and pointed out that this situation had nothing to do with him, so he had nothing to feel guilty about.

Gabi told Philip that the results of Stefan’s handwriting analysis were inconclusive. She thought he’d tell her to let it go, but Philip encouraged her not to because it was important to her.

Gabi was touched when Philip told her that he was sure Stefan must have loved her until the day he died.

EJ Makes Liam An Offer

In the square, EJ told Liam that he knew he was involved in the DiMera kidnappings, but to Liam’s surprise, he wanted to make a deal.

EJ told Liam that he wanted him to tell him if the man who hired him contacted him again — and that he couldn’t tell the police if he did.

Ari Kisses Liam

Upset that he was still involved with the drama, Liam went to Small Bar. Ari came in, flustered, and Liam overheard her order a drink. He commented about her day, and she took it as an invitation to join him.

The two were getting along quite well, when Gabi and Philip walked in. Panicked that her mom would see her, Ari kissed Liam as a way to hide. Liam did one better, and led her out the door before she was seen.

Outside, Ari was grateful, and Liam was smitten. He suggested they get together again but on purpose next time, and Ari agreed.

Ari gave Liam a kiss on the cheek before walking away. He touched his cheek and watched her leave, but then noticed EJ staring at him.
