The discovery prompted new testing, and the results confirmed dangerous levels of arsenic in the Horton well water.
Even as Holly began responding to treatment, new questions emerged. Sarah couldn’t explain how Coriseal entered Holly’s system, while Brady became convinced someone inside DiMera Pharmaceuticals had manipulated evidence. By Friday, Brady, Sarah and Xander all suspected Johnny was protecting EJ, while Chanel made the alarming connection that she had also consumed the contaminated water before her cancer returned.

After everything Lexie has endured since returning from the dead, her confrontation with EJ was one of the week’s most emotional scenes. She refused to thank him for giving her another chance at life, instead reminding him that he and Dr. Rolf had brought her back only so she could face losing everything all over again. Watching Lexie tell her brother that she wouldn’t wish her fate on anyone — especially having Theo watch her die a second time — was heartbreaking. It was a powerful reminder that miracles often come with consequences, and Nikki Crawford and Dan Feuerriegel delivered one of the week’s strongest performances.
