The Bold and the Beautiful Recap Feb 24

At the Forrester mansion, Katie and Brooke continued arguing about Eric. Donna and Bill walked in as Brooke was accusing Katie of stealing Eric. Katie said that Eric was a grown man who made his own decisions and offered to come to Logan.
Bill agreed, noting that he was available after she and Ridge basically fired him to force his retirement. Ridge walked down the stairs behind them, and said, “He’s right. I did that.” Brooke was jaw-dropped.
Ridge explained that he and Eric talked and he realized that he didn’t listen to his dad, and he felt discarded because of it. He took responsibility for Eric’s hurt and the effect it had on him. Katie looked impressed at his honesty, but Brooke didn’t.
Ridge told Brooke that he hurt his dad and he disregarded it because he thought he always knew best but he didn’t. “All I have to do is listen,” Ridge added. Donna asked if he listened to him today, and if he’d keep doing it. Ridge promised he would.
Donna reminded Brooke and Katie they were sisters and then went upstairs to talk to Eric. Once alone, Katie told Ridge she was glad he had that epiphany.
Ridge Takes Control

“Maybe you could tell your wife that I didn’t steal Eric away,” Katie added. Brooke said that although Eric may have technically come to her on own, what Katie did was still wrong.
Bill interrupted ot say it was time to move forward. He agreed with Katie that he was happy about Ridge’s turnabout with Eric but said it didn’t change anything else.
Ridge told them it changed one thing: Eric wouldn’t be working for them anymore. Bill said they had a contract but Ridge told him to rip it up.
Katie asked if all of the talk Ridge just made about respecting his elders was a big lie as he was already doing what he said he wouldn’t and making choices for Eric as if he’s some sort of child. “You’re down here demanding what you think he should do,” she added.
Ridge Ends Eric’s Contract Again

Brooke mocked Katie as she spoke, and then said there was no question Eric would rather be at Forrester. Ridge said they could discuss it with Eric another time but the only reason Eric came to them was because he thought there was no place for him at Forrester but that wasn’t true.
“Eric does not work for you anymore,” Ridge told Katie and Bill firmly.
Katie and Bill told Ridge and Brooke that they would be conscious of Eric’s health but he made a commitment to their first line, and they put a lot of time and money into him seeing it through.
Ridge shrugged that they shouldn’t have bothered. When Katie told him that they gave him purpose and place to thrive and be respected, Ridge hollered, “You gave him nothing!”
Ridge said that Eric had a place to get all of those things, and announced, “Eric Forrester is coming home.”
Will Can’t Focus on Work

In the CEO’s office, Will fretted about Electra; Carter gave him a pep talk. After Will left, RJ came in. A moment later, Willow and Kingsley came in and tried to convince RJ to go for drinks with them. He declined but they pulled him by his jacket and tried to tease him out the door.
When RJ still declined, he closed the door behind them. Carter said there were other beautiful women at Forrester to choose from. RJ agreed, “Like Electra.”
Will went into the design office but didn’t find Electra. Upset, he took off his WE necklace and put it on her desk. Ivy returned and saw the necklace. She took the necklace and placed it on the other desk, where Electra had placed the letter.
Electra Is Devastated

In the showroom, Electra paced, thinking about Will, waiting for him to find her letter, read it, and, as requested, come to talk to her. When he didn’t show up, she went looking for him.
By reception, Electra asked Willow and Kingsley if they’d seen Will. They dismissively said they hadn’t, but told her they weren’t sure they would tell her if they did.
Electra went into the design office and spotted the letter missing and the necklace in its place. She cried that Will had chosen Dylan, as Ivy eavesdropped. Ivy hid when Electra left and smiled as she watched her walk down the hall.
Ivy Orchestrates RJ and Electra Together

Ivy went across the hall to the CEO’s office and started talking to RJ while he was on a business call. She looked in the showroom and saw Electra sitting, devastated.
Ivy returned to the CEO’s office and, when his call ended, told him that Electra was going through a tough time. She quickly asked if he’d heard of this grifter named Dylan who’d been living with Will, and that Electra and Will had broken up.
RJ said that he didn’t know that Electra and Will were having problems. Ivy suddenly claimed ot have dropped a diamond in the showroom and asked him to go look for it. When RJ immediately agreed, she told him how wonderful he was and implied that he would be perfect for her niece.
RJ went into the showroom and found Electra crying. She said she didn’t want to talk about it, but then told him that she thought she and Will were over. RJ held her while she cried, and Ivy was spying from the doorway behind them.
