The Bold and the Beautiful: Steffy and Ridge Throw Shade at Carter — Is the Coup Really Forgotten?
On The Bold and the Beautiful, are Steffy and Ridge still bitter about the coup, or just getting in jabs when they can in good fun?
The Bold and the Beautiful: One Year Later

On today’s episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, it was clear that there was a side to be taken in the newest case of sibling rivalry between Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Katie (Heather Tom).
But while a year ago, Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) was all about defending the Logans, today he’s clearly TeamForrester. However, Carter’s loyalties don’t seem to be reciprocated.
While the Forrester executives had a meeting in the CEO’s office today, Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) got in a few jabs to their good friend and pseudo family member, Carter.
Forgiven But Not Forgotten

The Forrester executives probably had other business to talk about, but after briefly touching on the status of Hope for the Future and the return of Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) as head designer for the line, Brooke, Steffy, Carter, and Ridge went back to talking about Katie and Bill (Don Diamont), their marriage, and Bill’s wedding gift to Katie: a fashion house of her own.
When Steffy was brought up to speed about the Logan name (er…Brooke’s name) being used for the company, Ridge complained that Bill and Katie stole it from them.
It was noted that they did have the trademark on the name for years, but Carter said it expired about a year prior.
“Seriously,” Steffy said dryly as she shot Carter a look, knowing full well that a year ago, Carter was busy stealing the company from her and Ridge. It would have been Carter’s job to ensure that detail was taken care of, but here we are.

In the same meeting, Ridge griped that Bill didn’t know anything about business — yes, that Bill. Dollar Bill. Knows nothing. About business.
While rambling about his disdain for the guy, Ridge compared his style of business to Bill’s. “We’re not about mergers and acquisitions,” Ridge said. Carter didn’t say anything, but he had to know that was a shot at his attempt to expand Forrester’s global branding. There was barely a conversation Carter had a year ago that didn’t mention “mergers and acquisitions” being part of his business plan.
So what do you think? Convenient (or comedic) timing? Or are Ridge and Steffy holding a grudge against Carter? Tell us what you think in the comments.
