The Bold and the Beautiful Recap May 8

At Forrester, Carter met with Ridge and Steffy to finalize some details and called them the dream team when it came to leading the company.

Meanwhile, after more encouragement from Hope, Brooke got changed into something comfortable and lit candles in the living room. When Ridge came home, she soothed him after a long day, and then talked about Steffy.

Brooke told him that she was still making mistakes and making business decisions based on personal reasons. She told him how Stephanie and Eric’s love made them great business partners, and that they could do the same and take the company to new heights.

Brooke told Ridge that she wanted him to make her his co-CEO instead of Steffy. Ridge wondered what he would tell Steffy, and she told him to just give her another title.

Hope Tries Again

Hope went back to Forrester and tried talking to Steffy about her line again, but she told her a little more softly this time that she wasn’t going to change her mind.

Hope implied she’d make decisions for her future if there wasn’t one for her there. Steffy shrugged her off, and added a reminder that she was the co-CEO. As Steffy walked away, Hope murmured, “Maybe not for much longer.”

Katie Shares Her Plans

Over at Logan, Katie and Donna ordered in dinner as Donna told Katie that she seemed panicked, like she didn’t know how to function without Eric’s help. Katie told her she sounded like Brooke. Katie revealed that she was thinking about the future but had grand plans on what that looked like.

After getting Donna to reluctantly agree to keep a secret from Brooke, Katie told her that Hope was thinking about joining Logan. Donna told her absolutely not.
