TL;DR: In today’s Bold and the Beautiful recap, Electra tearfully opens up to RJ about Remy’s past deepfakes. Hope gives Ridge and Steffy an ultimatum, threatening to quit Forrester if her line isn’t prioritized, while Steffy mocks her for having hurt feelings. Brooke reaches out to Katie to end their rivalry but then accuses her of panicking about the Logan’s future. Remy asks his cousin Dylan for help getting Deke back, and Dylan is promoted to Daphne’s assistant.

The Bold and the Beautiful Recap May 6

In the design office, Electra cried to RJ about what it was like in high school when Remy did deepfakes of her. “I’ve never been so embarrassed,” she said, blaming everything on Remy.

Electra said that even more mindblowing was that Remy came to Forrester and asked for her forgiveness. RJ scoffed at that idea. Electra added that Remy claimed to have changed, but RJ encouraged her to disown him forever.

Electra said Remy had left her alone since then, and hoped he’d stay away from Deke as well. RJ offered to dig into it and find out where he was, but Electra said it was better not to know. When he made her laugh, RJ told Electra it was good to see her smile and wanted to do that as much as possible. Electra smiled happily as he kissed her hand.

Hope Waits For Answer

In the CEO’s office, Steffy warned Hope that she wasn’t in a position to make demands, and that it wasn’t a good look. Hope told Ridge that if they intended on shelving her line indefinitely, then there wasn’t a point in her being there.

“If you don’t want me here, just say so,” Hope said. Ridge looked at Steffy when she scoffed, “Or what, Hope? You’ll walk out the door?” Hope asked if Steffy was really laughing at her, so she told her the idea of her leaving was funny.

“Not so long ago you were the mastermind behind the coup to take over the company because you cared about it so much but now your feelings are hurt, and you want to walk away?” Steffy asked.

Hope told them that she knew her worth and if they didn’t want her, someone else would. After she left, Ridge warned Steffy they didn’t need a headline saying that Hope was the latest to jump ship. Steffy dismissed it, saying Hope wasn’t going anywhere.

Brooke Reaches Out To Katie

At Spencer, Liam told Katie that if Steffy wasn’t careful, she would motivate Hope right out the door. Brooke came in and told Katie it was time for a conversation between them, and they weren’t putting it off anymore.

Brooke said that she was still upset, but she loved her sister and wanted to make things better. She said that Katie stole Eric’s designs, but they were Logans and survivors and never wanted anything to come between them ever again.

Liam paced uncomfortably as Brooke said that it wasn’t that long ago that they were all working together, united. But since Katie splintered off, Donna feels caught in the middle and then there was Hope and Brooke. “Are we in competition now?” Brooke asked.

Brooke said it was no way for a family to be, with Katie at Spencer and the rest of them at Forrester. When Liam and Katie glanced at one another, Brooke questioned why. Sensing something was off, she deduced she’d walked in on something. 

Brooke decided that Katie and Liam were beginning to panic with Eric gone and what future they could have. Liam agreed that was what they were talking about, but said that despite what people thought at Forrester, there may be hope for Logan’s future.

Dylan and Remy Get Caught Up

In the salon, Dylan was surprised to hear that Remy loved Deke and wanted him back. He pleaded with her to help him get his boyfriend back. Remy said he’d tried reaching out to her but her phone was out of commission or something.

Dylan admitted that she’d been living out of her car for a while. Remy felt awful for Dylan and said he couldn’t imagine what she’d been through; Dylan told him that wasn’t even the worst of it.

When Dylan started to tell him about Luna, he already knew and admitted that Luna was his friend but swore he didn’t know what she was like when he first met her.

Dylan then talked about Will, and Remy could tell by the way she lit up that she really liked him. Remy encouraged her to go for Will, but she said that she was going after a life, not a man. She also didn’t want to hurt Electra, and said he should understand that.

Remy lamented that he’d hurt Electra but said that his was deliberate. He didn’t know how yet, but he was determined to get Will and Electra to see him the way that Dylan did.

Daphne came in, so Remy hid behind the clothes rack. Daphne told Dylan that she’d talked to Steffy about making Dylan her assistant. She had to get to a meeting but said they would talk more later.

After Daphne left, Remy congratulated Dylan on her promotion. She told him that with it, she couldn’t rock the boat and tell anyone they were cousins. Remy agreed and left, but first asked her to think about talking to Deke for him.

Hope Tells Brooke About Her Frustrations

Hope asked her mom to meet her at home instead of the office and told her she thought it would be easier to have privacy that way. She said that she’d spoken to Ridge and Steffy about her line being sidelined for too long.

Hope asked Brooke to talk to Ridge and try to get an answer about a launch date for her line, but Brooke didn’t think she could because couture was the priority. She wished that Brooke was co-CEO instead and pointed out all of her contributions to the company.

Hope said she’d been running HFTF for over a decade, and that Steffy hadn’t done anything but give a toxic working environment. She added that as much as she appreciated her job, she was tired of being mistreated.

“As much as I want to stay, I don’t know how much longer I can take this,” Hope told her. She said that Steffy was making it unbearable. “What exactly are you trying to say?” Brooke asked.
