The Bold and the Beautiful Recap May 5: Hope Delivers an Ultimatum to Ridge and Steffy, Remy Wants Dylan’s Help Getting Deke Back

TL;DR: In today’s Bold and the Beautiful recap, Hope confronts Steffy and Ridge about HFTF being on hold and demands a firm commitment for her future at Forrester. Katie and Hope consider working together at Spencer, though they worry about Brooke’s reaction. Remy tells Dylan he wants Deke back and asks Dylan to vouch for him. Electra can’t work because she’s crying to RJ about what happened with Remy.

The Bold and the Beautiful Recap May 5

RJ met with Electra to talk about jewelry pairing with designs, but could tell she was distracted. Electra was now lamenting about what had happened with Remy. RJ hadn’t heard that story yet, so she told him all about it.

“So, that’s what I’ve been dealing with,” Electra sighed afterward. She said it was always the people she least expected: First Remy, then Will, Dylan, and now Ivy. RJ assured her that she could always trust him and that she was safe with him.

Remy Asks Dylan To Help Him

In the salon, Remy explained that he was confused and desperate when he did what he did to Electra. He regretted it but also wanted his life back. He told her about his aspirations to be in the fashion industry, something he and Electra used to dream about together growing up.

Remy told Dylan about his love for Deke and how he wanted him back. He wanted Dylan’s help to get Deke to give him another chance. Since Deke didn’t work at Forrester, he thought it would be okay for her to tell Deke that they were cousins so she could vouch for him

Hope Secures Her Hope For the Future

At Spencer, Liam went in hard to convince Katie and Hope that working together was the best thing for both of them. They agreed and wanted to be excited about the prospect, but both feared the wrath of Brooke if they did.

Hope returned to Forrester and went to the CEO’s office, where Ridge was listening to Steffy complain about Hope’s whining and reminiscing about how she used Carter to orchestrate a coup. She said Hope couldn’t run a division, much less a company, and called the coup a failure.

Hope didn’t hear them as she came in. She was glad that Ridge was there as she hoped he could give the clarity that Steffy couldn’t, and told him her line had been on hold for over a year now.

Hope didn’t believe that it was in the best interest of the company, noting that HFTF was a money maker and she was an asset. “I know that now more than ever. So if my contributions won’t be valued here, quite frankly, that’s your loss,” Hope told them.

Hope told Steffy she didn’t have the stomach for begging and groveling from her anymore. She turned to Ridge to ask him when HFTF could be back in production. “I need a commitment. I need to know that i have a real place here at Forrester,” Hope continued. Steffy interrupted to ask her what she would do if she didn’t.
