The Bold and the Beautiful Recap May 4: Dylan’s Shocking Cousin, Hope Clashes with Steffy, Electra’s Promotion

TL;DR: In today’s Bold and the Beautiful recap, Electra is given control of the jewelry division by Ridge, while she complained to him about Ivy and Dylan. Meanwhile, the battle between Hope and Steffy intensifies as Hope feels devalued at Forrester, leading her to seek help from Katie. And, Dylan has a shocking family reunion with her cousin Remy, who has arrived to collect a favor after helping her get the art teacher job.

The Bold and the Beautiful Recap May 4

Ridge came to see Electra in the design office and asked how she was doing. Electra shared her feelings about Ivy and how betrayed she was.

Ridge told Electra that she had the full support of Forrester and the Forresters. Electra sniffed that she thought she had the full support of Ivy, but she was wrong.

Ridge offered Electra the opportunity to take over and run the jewelry division. She complained about Ivy some more, and how Dylan worked there now, then Will came in.

Will was happy for Electra when Ridge repeated his offer to run the jewelry line for Forrester. Will congratulated her but then brought up Ivy, and they all talked about it again.

After Ridge left, Will and Electra talked about how things had changed and if only Ivy hadn’t done what she’d done. 

Hope Has Enough of Steffy

In the CEO’s office, Hope continued to press for a launch date for HFTF, but Steffy told her it wasn’t a priority. When Hope wondered if it was personal, Steffy said it wasn’t but brought up the coup and Logan.

The two bickered about the situation with Hope telling Steffy that she didn’t feel valued at Forrester, and Steffy basically letting her feel validated in that.

Liam And Katie Discuss The Future

Over at Spencer, Liam told Katie about how hard it was getting for Hope to work with Steffy, and how miserable she was every day about it. Katie said she respected Hope professionally and would love to wor with her, but knew how upset Brooke would be.

Hope showed up and told them how frustrated she was with Steffy and why. She looked hopefully at Katie for salvation.

Dylan’s Family Reunion

Downstairs at Forrester, Dylan realized the person freaking her out was Remy, dressed in a wig. She told him he couldn’t be there, and he thought he’d demonstrated knowledge of that by wearing a wig.

Remy addressed Dylan as his cousin and said he needed her help. She blasted him for what he did to Electra, and couldn’t believe she was just finding out about it.

Remy pointed out that they didn’t grow up near one another, as he was in Texas, just outside of Dallas, and she was in the Midwest. Regardless, Electra wasn’t impressed.

Remy noted that he was the one who prepped Dylan to get the job as the art teacher and marveled at how that had worked out for her. He said she owed him, and now that she was at Forrester, he had come to collect.
