The Bold and the Beautiful Recap May 28: RJ Gives Ridge an Ultimatum, Shauna Returns, Electra Wants To Live With Will

TL;DR: In today’s Bold and the Beautiful recap, Will and Electra get serious about moving in together. Meanwhile, RJ gives Ridge an ultimatum about firing Will, accusing him of mistreating Electra. Hope refuses Donna’s plea to rip up her contract, excited about her future at Logan. And, Shauna Fulton arrives with Wyatt and pitches a job to Bill.

The Bold and the Beautiful Recap May 28

At the beach house, Will and Electra went for a night swim, then came back to cuddle. She agreed to move in with Will, and he was thrilled. They talked about what it would be like to work together all day, then come home and be together at night as well.

Will gently told Electra how much he loved her and wanted to spend every second of every day showing her just as much. They hung out on the outdoor swing, kissing as the waves rolled in and fireworks went off in the distance.

RJ Demands That Will Be Fired

Ridge brought RJ a pillow as he lay on the couch and complained that Will had to go. RJ didn’t want him near Electra, but Ridge said that wasn’t his business who she dated. Ridge explained that he felt bad for Will, always having to emulate a father like Bill.

RJ pressed hard for Ridge to fire Will, repeatedly saying he needed his dad to come through for him. He said he knew Ridge thought that Will did a good job, but a guy like that, who couldn’t control his temper, was a liability.

Ridge said that if the altercation happened at the office, he could do something about it, but he can’t just fire him because they like the same girl. RJ leaned in hard to say that Will was a carbon copy of his father. He added that Ridge didn’t see how he mistreated Electra and hurt her over and over. “He had another woman living with him and made Electra feel bad about it! And he sucker punched me!” RJ cried.

Ridge scoffed that Will deserved to be working with his parents instead of at Forrester and should be with his own family. “It’s me or him, Dad,” RJ warned. He then backtracked a little and said he hoped things didn’t come down to that. Ridge said he’d deal with things the next day and went to bed. “Tomorrow Spencer…tomorrow you’re fired,” RJ seethed.

Donna Tries Again With Hope

At the Forrester mansion, Donna pleaded with Hope to rip up her contract. Hope told her that she had already told Brooke she was taking leave from Forreseter Creations. Donna thought things were moving too fast.

Hope asked Donna to keep things quiet as promised because she wasn’t going to change her mind. She shared her excitement about her brighter future at Logan than what she’d had. “Who knows? Maybe my line will be the crown jewel at Katie’s fashion house,” Hope told her.

Shauna Says Hi

In Bill’s office, Wyatt scolded his dad for wanting to infuriate Ridge, but he explained what great PR it would be to announce Hope joining Logan along with the Hope Diamond. He thought it would put Hope and Katie on the map internationally.

They were interrupted by Shauna Fulton. “Hi guys!” she smiled as she walked through the door. “Shauna? What are you doing here?” Bill asked. Shauna said that Wyatt came to L.A. with her. 

Wyatt explained that he was in Las Vegas doing some consulting work, and it didn’t work out with Flo. He added that Bill ordered him to town right away, and his car was in the shop, so he promised Shauna a fancy dinner if she drove him.

Shauna pitched Bill on hiring her as a consultant at Logan. Wyatt hustled Shauna out of the office as he told Bill he’d think about his request. “What just happened?” Bill asked Liam when there was finally silence.
