The Bold and the Beautiful Recap May 18: Brooke Changes Focus; Remy Shakes Up Dylan

TL;DR: In today’s Bold and the Beautiful recap, Brooke appeared to have a change of heart about her career and Steffy, while working Ridge to get Steffy to lighten up on Hope. Remy returned to Forrester and continued to pressure Dylan. 

The Bold and the Beautiful Recap May 18

At Forrester, Electra told Dylan how she was willing to move past everything and be friends again as Remy listened from the doorway. After Electra left, he slipped into the design office to greet his cousin.

Dylan freaked out and told him to stay away, but Remy wasn’t really listening to that. He didn’t see why anything from his freaky phone calls to the deepfakes were a big deal, and thought everyone should move on and be friends.

Remy wanted Dylan to promise to help him get Deke back, and encouraged her to go for Will. Dylan insisted she was only interested in her career, moving ahead, and doing whatever she could to please Electra.

Steffy’s Days of Surprises

Steffy was in the CEO’s office when Finn surprised her with Hayes. Charlie came in and teased that they had slipped by security. Charlie took Hayes to see Electra and Dylan in the hallway.

While alone, Steffy told Finn how Ridge had asked her to give up her job for Brooke but in the end he backed down. She said that Brooke had given him all of her talking points. Steffy was surprised again when she got a text from Brooke telling her she was a good CEO.

Brooke Changes Focus

At home, Brooke cooed to Ridge to forget what she said earlier; she didn’t need a title to feel validated and worthy after all. Brooke told Ridge that she loved him even more for looking out for his daughter.

On that note, Brooke said that she wanted Ridge to look out for her daughter, as well. She asked him to talk to Steffy and get her to change her mind about HFTF.

Ridge wanted to go for dinner, so Brooke went upstairs to change, but came down in nothing but a silk robe. She opened it to show him nothing underneath and suggested they stay in instead.

Brooke paused to look at her phone and saw that Steffy hearted her text. Ridge was amazed that Brooke had sent the message to Steffy, and that Brooke was in such a great mood after being told no. Brooke assured him she just wanted to keep the peace.
