The Bold and the Beautiful Recap June 9: Katie Reveals Hope Spencer’s Secret Role to Will, and RJ and Dylan make a deal

TL;DR: In today’s Bold and the Beautiful recap, Brooke tells Ridge, and Katie tells Bill about the fight, slap, and truce regarding their professional poaching. Will starts his first day at Spencer, and Katie reveals the massive, top-secret news that Hope Spencer is their new designer — a fact Will is sworn to keep hidden from everyone, including Electra. And RJ and Dylan go for breakfast and agree to help each other get over Electra and Will.

Electra and Will were excited about his first day but sad they wouldn’t be able to steal kisses all day at work. They agreed the silver lining was that they got to come home to one another at night.

RJ and Dylan Bond Over Moving On

RJ took Dylan to Bikini for breakfast, noting that he told his dad they’d be in late. He said he had that ability when it was a special occasion, and deemed it commiserating that Will and Electra were wearing matching necklaces in the situation.

Dylan and RJ talked about how her life had changed, and she was proud and grateful for its turnaround. She especially cherished her relationship with Electra. They agreed to help one another move on from their feelings for Will and Electra.

Brooke Updates Ridge on Her Truce With Katie

In the CEO’s office, Brooke told Ridge that she and Katie had fought and that Brooke had slapped her. She regretted having to come to that, but they agreed not to fight anymore. “I got her to agree to no more poaching of Forresters,” she shared.

As Brooke was saying that she hoped for the best for her nephew, Electra came in. Brooke told her what they were talking about, and Electra said she felt responsible for Will getting fired. After they assured her that she wasn’t to blame for anything, Brooke told Elctra about her agreement with Katie and that she wouldn’t be taking what didn’t belong to her again.

Katie Reveals Spencer Creations’ Secret Designer

At Spencer, Bill flipped out when Katie told him that Brooke slapped her, but it wasn’t any worse than being called a homely introvert. She calmed him down by telling him that she outsmarted her sister by agreeing to only hire Spencers and no Forresters.

Katie wished she could be open about Hope working there but knew Brooke wouldn’t be supportive and would blow a gasket. Just then, Will arrived for his first day at work. Katie and Bill were thrilled, and all of them excitedly talked about how they were unstoppable together.

Bill told Will how much he loved him before going to deal with a business matter. Once alone, Katie swore Will to secrecy about the new designer. “It’s Hope Spencer,” Katie said. Will was blown away. Katie reminded him it was top secret and he couldn’t say anything to anyone, even Electra.
