The Bold and the Beautiful Recap June 3: Will Joins Spencer as RJ Questions Electra’s Future

TL;DR: In today’s Bold and the Beautiful recap, Will Spencer finds his footing after being fired from Forrester, officially joining his parents at Spencer Publications, while Hope faces tough questions about her career path from Ridge.

The Bold and the Beautiful Recap June 3

In the Forrester showroom, the models wondered if it was true that Will was fired, noting he was a great guy. But then they told RJ he wasn’t as great or as available as he was and said they were there for him anytime, nudge nudge, wink wink.

Electra came in when RJ was alone, and he assumed she was upset with him for pushing Will away. Electra apologized to RJ for coming between him and Will but he told her it wasn’t her fault; it was all on Will. RJ told her that it was Will’s “Spencer qualities” that were the reason he had to go and why he worried about her being around him.

RJ carried on about how insecure Will was and that he didn’t want him to hurt her again. Electra agreed, saying that losing his temper was why Will couldn’t be there. She wanted to make sure that RJ knew nothing had changed between them.

Electra and RJ’s Mutual Admiration Will Get Them Through

Electra pointed out she was wearing her WE necklace. RJ said he noticed, and that he knew she was thinking of moving in with Will. “Do you really think that’s a good idea?” He asked. Electra said she knew he was just looking out for her.

Electra and RJ told each other how good-looking they were and that they felt lucky to be in each other’s presence. “But Will is your first love,” RJ noted. Electra said she and Will had their problems, but all couples do. 

RJ said he respected her too much to come onto her all the time without Will around. “Although, it’s going to be hard working with you, staring into those eyes, knowing I can’t hold you,” he told her. Electra listed off the models and interns who wanted him. RJ asked Electra to promise him that she wouldn’t forget how special she was.

Ridge Warns Hope Not To Wind Up Like Katie

Hope and Deke came home and were thrilled about their meeting at Logan. As they celebrated with an excited hug, Ridge and Brooke walked in. Instead of telling them they had come home early because Will had just been fired, Ridge asked why Hope was on a leave of absence. 

Hope said it shouldn’t be that much of a surprise to him and listed off her frustrations about her line, Steffy, and how she’s been treated. Ridge said it sounded like she regretted her decision and knew that taking leave didn’t change anything.

Ridge said he didn’t want her to feel disrespected or not valued. “We just went through this with Katie and look at her now: she’s got a fashion company with no direction and no focus,” Ridge shrugged.

Ridge and Brooke left to have lunch with Eric, but told Hope to reconsider her leave before going. Once alone, Hope reiterated to Deke that more than ever, they had to keep their move to Logan a secret. She said that her line was about the here and now and no more empty promises for HFTF. 

Bill Celebrates Will’s Exit From Forrester

Will went to Spencer and told his parents he’d been fired. Bill couldn’t have been happier about all of it — the punch and the firing — and was glad Will was away from Ridge and his sycophants. Will also shared that Electra agreed to move in, that he loved her and couldn’t imagine life without her.

Bill and Katie wanted Will to come work at Spencer. Will teased his demands to consider it and bantered with Bill. Katie told Will that she always hoped they would work together again, but knew he wanted to carve his own path. Will agreed that it was important to him.

Will said he had the greatest parents in the world, and he was very grateful for them. “And I’m grateful for my bosses,” he added. Katie asked if that meant he was coming to Spencer. “I am proud to work with my family,” Will smiled. “Welcome aboard, son!” Bill told him. He told him there was plenty of room for him at Spencer.

Will Joins the Family Business

Bill promised to be the best father he could be, and told Will it meant so much to him and Katie to spend more time with him and to watch him become the man he wanted to be. Will promised to give it his all, and Bill was thrilled to have all of his boys together. Bill wanted to celebrate — his youngest son was joining the family business. He said it was his dream, and it was all because of Katie.
