The Bold and the Beautiful Recap June 24: Brooke Learns Deke Is Logan’s Designer as Zende Gets a Promotion

TL;DR: In today’s Bold and the Beautiful recap for Wednesday, June 24, Brooke learns Deke is Logan’s designer, Zende is promoted to lead designer of Hope for the Future, and Hope races to protect her secret.

The Bold and the Beautiful Recap June 24

The Forresters were busy getting ready for their show when Carter came in and asked if they knew about Logan’s fashion show announcement. They told him that Brooke had gone to Logan after hearing about it. RJ laughed that Brooke would probably force the Spencers to cancel their show.
Eric told Zende how proud he was of the work he’d been doing and could see the passion he had for it. Zende agreed he’d enjoyed working with him on the couture line but said how much he enjoyed Hope for the Future. Ridge and Steffy chimed in, and then Ridge asked Steffy, “if they should.” She smiled and nodded, then they surprised Zende by promoting him to the lead designer of HFTF.
Zende cried tears of joy as they handed out champagne and did a toast. Afterward, Zende hugged Carter, and they were both happy that his patience paid off.

Brooke Confronts Katie at Logan

At Logan, Brooke accused Katie of stealing her name, poaching Eric, and now trying to sponge off of Forrester by having her fashion show the day before. Katie said she was sick of hearing how she stole from her and that her fashion show had nothing to do with Forrester; she was just ready to launch it.
Snidely, Brooke asked how she could be ready and who the designer was who made it happen. She got more and more demanding about it, and said she wouldn’t leave until she’d checked every room in the building until she found the person.
Behind them, Hope kept poking her head out from behind the partition. When she heard her mom’s threats to not leave without finding out the mystery designer, she snuck out the door and ran down to the design office. There, she told Deke in a panic that he had to get to Katie’s office and reveal himself so Brooke wouldn’t find out about her.

Deke Reveals Himself as Logan’s Designer

Deke did as requested, and Katie told Brooke that he was her new designer. Brooke was surprised that “Deacon’s son” was the mysterious hire. She told Deke that it was cute, but he was no match for his competition: Eric Forrester. Deke humbly told her he was doing his thing over at Logan, and Katie assured her (and him) that his line would be a success.
Brooke wished them luck but made it clear that they were going to need. After an unnecessary rant about how they were doomed to fail, Brooke finally went back to her own office.

Brooke Reports Back to Forrester

Back at Forrester Creations, Brooke told everyone about Deke being the new designer at Logan and how she told Katie that she wouldn’t succeed at this attempt to one up them. Eric thought they lacked foresight. He said that whatever buzz they created with the Logan fashion show would be forgotten about the next day when everyone was dazzled by the couture line .

Brooke Calls Hope

Meanwhile, Katie comforted Hope at Logan and assured her that everything would be all worth it the next day after the fashion show happened. Brooke called Hope, so she put her on speaker phone. Brooke asked if she knew that Deke was Katie’s new designer.
Hope acted like she didn’t know, but also didn’t know what to say. Brooke wondered what she was doing, noting she sounded distracted. Hope told her she was doing ‘sabbatical things.’ Brooke invited Hope to come to the Forrester fashion show, then caught herself. “Of course you’ll be there,” Brooke said. Brooke told Hope she was part of the family.
