The Bold and the Beautiful Recap June 2: Will Leaves Forrester But Warns RJ

TL;DR: In today’s Bold and the Beautiful recap, Will gets his termination letter from Forrester Creations, although everyone acknowledges that RJ’s actions were motivated by his desire to have Electra to himself. Meanwhile, Katie and Bill welcome Deke to Spencer, but the arrangement must remain a secret for now.

The Bold and the Beautiful Recap June 2

At Spencer, Katie was happy that Deke wanted to join them, but reiterated to all that it had to remain a secret until they were ready to announce it. Deke couldn’t believe how his good luck turned around and said that being there with all of them just felt right. He thanked Bill and Katie for their support and belief in him.

Katie was enthusiastic about how amazing it was going to be to work together. She was more inspired than ever about the House of Logan; she told everyone. Bill was happy too; he just wished that they could have all of the Spencers there.

Will Calls It

In the design office, Electra couldn’t believe Will was fired, and they wouldn’t get to work together every day. Will was fine not being somewhere he wasn’t wanted. Will told her who was at the meeting and how they all agreed with RJ. He told Electra all that mattered was how much they loved one another.

Will told Electra that the real reason he was fired was that RJ wanted Electra but couldn’t have her because she loved Will. He said RJ’s ego was bruised more than his ribs, and he got his parents to fight his battles because he couldn’t.

Will pointed out that he had been subjected to RJ’s verbal attacks for months and no one had a problem with it. He was called “sleazy” and a “lowlife” on a regular basis, but he got physical one time at an outside event, and they took action against him. Now that he said it out loud, he could see that they were just waiting to get rid of him.

Electra told him that it was Forrester’s loss because everyone there loved him. “Everyone but the golden boy,” Will quipped. He laughed and said, “And now I’m done,” and then kissed Electra.

Dylan Questions RJ’s Motives

In the showroom, Dylan was shocked at the news, but RJ was delighted. He said that Will just about cracked his ribs and his dad could finally see what he did: Will couldn’t control himself, and there was no room at Forrester for a Spencer.

Dylan agreed that Will shouldn’t have hit him but asked if it was the real reason he had him fired, or if it had more to do with Electra. “Will’s a jerk. He’s just going to hurt Electra again,” RJ told her. He gave it a week before Will let her down again, and was especially worried about her now that they were moving in together.

Will Gets His Walking Papers

In the CEO’s office, Ridge lamented that he had no choice but to fire Will when he put his hands on RJ, but Brooke was concerned that Katie would see it as her making a personal attack on her son. Carter came in with Will’s letter of termination. Ridge and Brooke read it and hoped that Will would see one day that he brought it upon himself.

Carter laughed when Brooke compared RJ and Will to Ridge and Bill’s “bickering.” Brooke said that RJ and Will should be getting along because they’re cousins, but Ridge pointed out they couldn’t, since they both loved Electra.

RJ and Dylan came in and said that the whole building was buzzing at the news; Carter said they’d put out a company-wide memo soon. Will and Electra walked in, and Ridge handed Will the letter and told him he was sorry things didn’t work out. Will got in a few more shots at RJ, telling him he was acting like a baby because he couldn’t have his girl. RJ and Dylan followed Electra and Will out to the lobby and watched them say goodbye.
