The Bold and the Beautiful Recap June 19: Hope Panics Over Brooke While Wyatt Unveils the Hope Diamond

The Bold and the Beautiful Recap June 19

At Spencer, Hope tried to tell Bill, Katie, and Liam about her meeting at Forrester, but she was distressed about Brooke and Steffy expecting her back at work. She knew how upset her mom was going to be, and it was hitting her how bad things could get.

Katie offered to take Hope to the design office to talk about it. There, Hope said she felt like she was stabbing her mom in the back and didn’t know she could go through with it. She could envision the look on Brooke’s face when she got to the end of the runway and thought she should talk to her first.

“What kind of daughter am I?” Hope cried, then recalled how she grew up in the halls of Forrester, playing hide and seek under the desks. Katie told her she understood, but she had also done nothing wrong.

Katie reminded Hope that she wasn’t lying; it was business. And unfortunately, she couldn’t tell Brooke in advance because Brooke wouldn’t be supportive because she’s selfish.

Hope felt like a hypocrite for criticizing Brooke over the years for her secrets. Katie told her that she was in her spot too, but realized there was nothing wrong with breaking free of the people who held her back and going after her own dreams.

Katie Encourages Hope to Stay the Course

Katie shared how much they’d invested in the line from the perfumist to the jeweler and everything in between. “I’m not telling you that to pressure you,” Katie insisted. She said it indicated how much they believed in her. Katie didn’t believe that Steffy would follow through and said that if it wasn’t this time, it would be next time on a whim. She wouldn’t have that uncertainty at Logan.

“It’s time for you to remember who you are. You are Hope Logan Spencer,” Katie told her. She promised that when she walked to the end of the runway, she would take her hand and they would raise it together. “What if I lose her?” Hope cried.

Katie told Hope that Brooke loved her too much to turn her back on her daughter. She thought that if she allowed herself, Brooke would be proud of her, and one day, she would understand. “And if she doesn’t, that is on her, Hope. You have been there for her,” Katie reminded her. She said it would be Brooke’s cross to bear.

Hope thought Katie was right, but was still afraid. She just wanted the line to drop as soon as possible so she didn’t have to lie anymore. Katie agreed, and they told one another how much they loved each other.

Wyatt Reveals the Hope Diamond at Spencer

Once alone, Bill and Liam agreed that Hope was in a tough spot. Wyatt and Shauna came by to talk about the jewelry line and showed some of Shauna’s pieces. Before Bill would agree to anything, he said he had a requirement of Wyatt: to get him the Hope Diamond.

Wyatt said that it was nearly impossible and hadn’t been seen in public in years. “Can’t find that in a pawn shop,” Liam quipped when he saw a picture of it on Bill’s computer. 

Wyatt said it would take a literal genius, a scrappy, well-connected person to be able to get their hands on the Hope Diamond. He reached in his pocket and said that person might be him as he pulled out the replica and showed it to everyone.

Brooke Shares Hope for the Future News at Forrester

At Forrester, Brooke announced to Ridge, Eric, and Zende that Steffy called in Hope and told her that HFTF was next in production after the couture line launch. Zende was thrilled.

Zende told everyone that he was honored to work with Eric on couture, but ready-to-wear was his sweet spot. He wished he’d been there to see Hope’s reaction to the news. Brooke said she was speechless. The Forresters looked forward to Eric’s big couture launch next week.
