The Bold and the Beautiful Recap June 18: Sheila Makes a Shocking Demand, Brooke Celebrates Hope’s Return

At Forrester, Ridge called Electra into the showroom to check in on her. Since Ivy was gone, he thought he could do something to help her out. When Dylan arrived, he announced he was making him Electra’s assistant. Ridge assured Electra that he and Steffy had spoken to Daphne, and she was fine with it. Ridge was enthused about having all hands on deck for the couture line, so he could show Bill and Katie never to mess with his dad.

Hope Struggles to Keep Her Secret

At Forrester, Steffy was asking Hope what she wanted to tell her as Brooke came in. Brooke heard Steffy say that they were going to focus on Hope for the Future the day after couture launched. When Brooke confirmed that was what she overheard, Steffy said it was true, as long as Hope ended her leave.

Brooke told Steffy that it wouldn’t be a problem and congratulated Hope, who looked stunned. Hope made an audible gulp and looked guilty as Brooke gushed about how they could work together every day and that Hope would be back at Forrester, right where she belonged.

Sheila Puts Conditions on the Divorce

At Taylor’s office, Sheila walked in and commented bitterly on seeing Taylor and her husband snuggled up together. She said that it hurt more than she thought it would, but hoped she could put an end to that. Sheila reached into her purse and pulled out the divorce papers as Deacon and Taylor shrieked and recoiled at her every word and movement.

Sheila told them that there was something not in the divorce papers that she wanted: to still be friends and to have a relationship with her family. She asked Taylor to advocate for her with Finn and Steffy and said it was the least she could do since she had her husband.

Taylor said she’d do her best but didn’t have control over it. Sheila said she needed to make it happen or she wouldn’t sign the divorce papers. She clarified that Taylor had to show them they had nothing to fear and that she wanted two days a month with her family. If Taylor made that happen, then she’d sign the papers, and they’d be rid of her.

Hope Faces a Difficult Choice

At Spencer, Katie wondered if Steffy had seen something when she’d dropped by the other day. Hearing that, Liam was convinced he should go over there. He wanted to call her, but Bill stopped him. He said if Steffy knew, Hope wouldn’t hang around for a tongue-lashing, so just let it play out.

Katie, Bill, Deke, and Liam discussed Hope’s move being a secret and how, eventually, everyone would know. Katie was stressed about Brooke’s reaction when she found out.

Bill soothed Katie and told her that as sisters, they would eventually find their way through it. Katie said she never wanted the war with Brooke. Bill told her that, unfortunately, it was war, and it was one he intended to win.

Hope returned and repeated every minute of her meeting at Forrester. As she told them what Brooke was saying to her about missing her and being proud of her, Hope’s voice cracked. Everyone wanted to know one thing: whether or not Hope was still committed to Logan.
