The Bold and the Beautiful Recap June 17

At Spencer, Liam and Katie couldn’t rest until they heard from Hope. The more time went by, the more they worried. Deke arrived, and they told him what was going on, and they all worried together. Bill, however, remained unfazed.

Deacon and Taylor Reflect on Their Relationship

Deacon came to Taylor’s office, and they mentioned that she wasn’t his therapist anymore, but he loved having her as his girlfriend instead. They noted how nice it was to be in her office without worrying about Sheila or Taylor’s family catching them together

Taylor asked if Deacon had heard from Sheila. He said he was waiting to hear about their divorce, but she was busy with a new job and had a roommate. Deacon called being with Sheila a mistake, but that he’d learned from Taylor not to be ashamed and just move on.

Deacon and Taylor sat down and cuddled while they recounted how they got there. As they were hugging, Taylor saw the door move behind them. She screamed, and they both jumped up and looked to see Sheila standing in the doorway.

Eric, Ridge, and Brooke Criticize Katie

At the Forrester showroom, Eric and Ridge were on a high from watching Eric’s couture preview and were sure they had another hit on their hands. Brooke wished she could say the same for Katie and Logan and gave them a knowing look.

Brooke said she didn’t want to drag them down with bad memories, but seeing Eric’s designs on the runway reminded her. Eric chimed in, saying how disappointed he was in Katie. Ridge agreed there was no hope for Katie’s future and took his digs at Bill as well.

Eric said he couldn’t believe Katie left Forrester and disparaged her for being “ambitious” to go out on her own, and Brooke diminished her company, noting that Bill gave her a fashion house for a wedding present, but then she lost all perspective.

Hope Has Something to Tell Steffy

In the CEO’s office, Steffy told Hope she knew what was going on: Hope had given up hope. She told her that it wasn’t the case and she was keeping her word. Now that couture was ready to launch, PR would be ready to take on the next campaign.

Steffy told Hope her leave of absence was over, and she had to come back to work to get her line going soon. She said if she needed more time, they could work with her on it, but expected her back right away.

Hope hesitated, so Steffy asked what the problem was. She suggested Hope was on leave as a tactic to get their attention, but assured her that she meant it and gave her an awkward hug.

Hope recoiled and told Steffy she couldn’t just magically make all the months of distrust disappear at the wave of her hand. She said she’d thought they’d all given up on her and that there was no future for her there, and all that damage couldn’t just disappear because Steffy said so. Hope told Steffy she couldn’t let HFTF go into production — and that she had something to tell her.
