The Bold and the Beautiful Recap July 30: Electra Slaps Dylan, Steffy Bans Sheila

TL;DR: In The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Thursday, July 30th, 2026, Deke worries about Will, Electra slaps Dylan after learning about her feelings for Will, Steffy refuses to let Sheila into Finn’s life, and Electra confronts Will.

The Bold and the Beautiful Recap July 30

At the beach house, Will was day drinking again when Deke stopped by to check on him. He told him that he knew Dylan had feelings for him as well, and listened while Will pined for Electra. He told him the Forresters were acting so elite, and telling her that the Spencers were just unsophisticated, classless owners of a tabloid magazine.

Deke said he seemed to be spiraling and was concerned. Will told him about the “Spencers and Forresters don’t mix” mantra that Electra was being told. Deke asked him if he was starting to believe it as well. Will told him not to be his therapist, and if he was there to analyze him, then leave.

Electra Slaps Dylan

At Forrester, Electra was upset that Dylan claimed to love Will. Dylan explained that she developed feelings for him when she stayed there and got to know him. Electra said she was invited for one day and stayed a month. Dylan told her that regardless, she moved out and supported Electra’s relationship with Will and put her feelings aside. At least she did until Electra dumped him yet again.

Electra demanded that Dylan stay out of Will’s life, his house, and his bed. Dylan said she only wanted to be honest with Electra, and wasn’t telling her anything hurt her. She also let her know that she spent the night, but all they did was kiss and talk, and slept on the couch together.

Electra lost it. She didn’t believe that was all that happened and accused Dylan of moving to L.A. and getting a job teaching rich kids to infiltrate their lives. She said that Dylan saw the beach house and never wanted to leave it.

Dylan denied it and said that she couldn’t believe she was even thinking that but Electra was infuriated. She accused Dylan of being a vulture waiting to pounce on her boyfriend and slapped her hard across the face, leaving a mark.

Finn and Steffy Stand Firm on Sheila

At the Finnegans’ house, Taylor and Finn talked about Steffy and Sheila. Taylor was taken aback when Finn admitted that he thought Sheila might have changed. However, he was aware that he would always also wonder if she could snap at any minute. Finn acknowledged his feelings were complicated but said no matter what, Steffy didn’t want Sheila in their lives and he would always put her and the kids first.

Meanwhile, at Finn’s office, Steffy told Sheila that she agreed with her about Taylor taking her world away, and that she wasn’t happy about Taylor and Deacon being together professionally or personally. But she added that Sheila had hurt too many people and she knew from experience that if she let her in, she risked losing Finn and Hayes.

Sheila asked on behalf of Finn to let her in, saying that she knew it hurt him that she wasn’t allowed to be. Steffy made it clear that she wasn’t budging on the subject and that Sheila didn’t need to ask or beg anymore. She told Sheila that she would never be in Finn’s life.

Steffy went home and told Finn that she didn’t care if Sheila was his birth mother; she did not ever want her in their lives.

Electra Confronts Will

Dylan checked out the mark on her face in the mirror then texted Will to call her in. He read the message but threw the phone down instead. Just then, Electra walked in the door. He was happily surprised and assumed she was there to talk things out.

However, he quickly learned that she was upset. Assuming the Forresters got in her head, he asked her to believe in their relationship. Electra said she couldn’t now that she knew about Dylan. “How could you do this to me?” she wailed.
