The Bold and the Beautiful Recap July 16: Daphne Confesses She’s Infertile as Eric Orders Will Away From Electra

TL;DR: In today’s The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Thursday, July 16, 2026, Daphne shares heartbreaking news with Carter, Steffy turns to Taylor for support, and Eric catches Will pleading with Electra and shuts it down.

The Bold and the Beautiful July 16

Steffy and Daphne returned to Forrester, and Steffy stayed with her in the design room until Carter came in. Daphne told her husband that she was infertile and couldn’t give him the family that they wanted.

Daphne told Carter that she felt like her body betrayed her. She said she was someone who went for what she wanted and followed her dreams. For the first time, she was being told she couldn’t do that.

Carter assured Daphne that they had so many more dreams and said they would get through it as he broke down crying. Carter promised Daphne that he would be her rock and they would be okay.

Steffy Opens Up to Taylor

Steffy met Taylor at Bikini and told her how upset she was about a friend who just got told she couldn’t have kids. After sharing how upsetting it was for her to be her friend’s support, Steffy revealed it was Daphne she was talking about. Taylor offered to be there for Daphne and/or Carter if they wanted to talk.

Eric and Ridge Stand Firm on Will

Across the hall, Eric and Ridge went over the details of their planned couture fashion show via livestream. Ridge said Brooke was too upset at Katie and Hope to come home from the wellness spa and wouldn’t talk about what happened, even with him.

Eric said that Electra needed to focus on the launch of her jewelry line, not that Will Spencer. Ridge agreed; he said that Ivy was wrong the way she went about it, but was right about who Will was. They both noted that Electra was family and they had to take care of her; Eric assured Ridge he’d make sure Will was out of Electra’s life.

Eric Interrupts Will and Electra

At the Forrester mansion, Will pleaded with Electra to come home. He said everything else was a mess, but they promised they wouldn’t let anyone come between them.

Electra tearfully told Will that Ridge said she couldn’t see him anymore. Will said that Ridge had no right to tell her that, but Electra said the Forresters were good to her. Will said she was an adult, Ridge wasn’t her father, and had no say in her life like that.

Electra told Will that she was upset about the fashion show, and she was scared of him when he was attacking RJ. However, she never stopped loving him through it all, she added. Will said that was all that mattered, and put his hand out, asking her to come with him.

Electra seemed like she was about to take his hand, but Eric walked in. “Will!” Eric bellowed. He said that he saw Will’s bike. “I know it’s you,” he seethed. He told Will he wasn’t welcome in his home, or anywhere near Electra.

Will said that with all due respect, he would not stay away from Electra, although who he had in his home was a fair point. He asked Eric to let him explain where he was coming from with the business secrets, but Eric refused to listen. He said the same things about Will being an awful person because he was a Spencer and told Electra she was one of them.
