The Bold and the Beautiful Recap July 14: Daphne’s World Is Shattered While Dylan Pursues Will

The Bold and the Beautiful Recap July 14

At Forrester, Daphne met with Steffy before a long-awaited doctor’s appointment, admitting she was nervous about what she might learn. Carter wanted to go with her, but Daphne insisted he attend his meeting while Steffy offered to drive her instead.

At the hospital, Li interrupted Finn while he was deep in thought. Finn admitted Sheila had unexpectedly visited him and confessed he wasn’t sure what to make of it.

Although he knew Steffy would never accept Sheila, Finn admitted part of him wondered whether his birth mother had truly changed. Moments later, Steffy arrived with Daphne, and Finn left to see a patient while the women prepared for Daphne’s appointment.

Li explained that Daphne’s physician had been called away for an emergency and asked her to deliver the results personally. Li revealed that she was experiencing premature menopause, and Daphne was infertile. Struggling to process the news, Daphne tearfully asked if it meant she would never be able to have a baby. The devastating revelation left her future with Carter suddenly uncertain.

Dylan Decides She Can’t Let Will Go

At Bikini Bar, Jessica questioned Dylan about Electra and Will’s breakup. Jessica encouraged Dylan to finally admit her feelings for Will. Dylan resisted at first, worried about risking her friendship with Electra and Will, but eventually confessed she couldn’t stop thinking about him and believed he might even be the love of her life.

When Will arrived looking defeated, Dylan offered a sympathetic ear. Will admitted he wasn’t sorry for defending himself against RJ and revealed Bill had sent him away from the office to cool off. Although Will tried to avoid discussing Electra, Dylan assured him she cared about him, too. 

Later, Dylan visited Will at the beach house to check on him again, insisting Electra had overreacted. As she comforted him, Dylan admitted how much he meant to her before embracing him and beginning to unbutton his shirt, making it clear she wanted their relationship to become something more.

RJ Urges Electra to Leave Will Behind

RJ found Electra in the design room at Forrester Creations and admired her latest jewelry before checking on how she was coping.

Electra admitted she had moved out and no longer knew where she stood with Will. RJ reminded her that Will’s violent outburst had hurt more than just him and argued that Ridge had always been right about the Forresters and Spencers being a dangerous combination.

Although Electra clearly still had feelings for Will, RJ encouraged her not to ignore the warning signs, insisting Will had repeatedly let her down and wasn’t the man she deserved. “Spencers and Forresters just don’t mix,” RJ added.
