The Bold and the Beautiful Recap Feb 23

In the showroom, Ivy eavesdropped as Electra told Will that they needed to prioritize them, not “some girl.” She said that Dylan probably had other friends; he didn’t need to be one of them.
Electra was outraged at the thought of going to Will’s and Dylan being there. She told him that he needed to choose her, his girlfriend. Will didn’t respond, so Electra walked out.
Rattled, Will walked into the CEO’s office, but Daphne and Carter were in there on the couch. He turned to leave, but Carter asked him what was wrong.
Will shared his argument with Electra, and Daphne and Carter empathized. They told him that Electra loved him and things would work out but he wasn’t so sure.
Ivy Intervenes Again

Meanwhile, Electra returned to the design office and told Ivy that she and Will couldn’t hear one another, so she was going to write him a letter instead. Ivy didn’t see the point as she didn’t think there was anything left to say.
Electra cried as Ivy gave her a hypothetical that Will understood Electra’s feelings, but didn’t care about them. She threw in, for good measure, that she was sick of seeing Will put Electra second, especially after everything that happened with Luna.
“That wasn’t Will’s fault,” Electra argued. Ivy shrugged but said that Electra still had to suffer through the whole Luna experience as well.
Electra wrote the letter and told Ivy that what she and Will had was worth fighting for. Ivy still tried to dissuade her, but Electra was sure that Will wanted to work through it as much as she did.
Electra told Ivy that she was going to leave the letter on the desk for Will to read before his meeting. She asked him in the letter to meet her in the showroom.
Content, it would work. Electra walked away, but Ivy picked up the letter and put it in her purse. Behind her, Daphne watched from the doorway.
Katie and Brooke, Round 2

At the Forrester mansion, Katie got to respond. She told Brooke how Eric needed to design because it was what kept him alive. She said that they forced him to retire when he didn’t want to, and he couldn’t go to them because he felt discarded.
Katie said that she gave Eric the opportunity to feel valued, and he was — with her. “So this is your angle: the poor Eric was disrespected story,” Brooke mocked. She said it wasn’t about Eric, it was about Katie trying to be her.
Brooke said that anyone of importance knew Brooke, not Katie, and she was just trying to ride her coattails but couldn’t. Katie told Brooke that her ego was stunning.
Katie suggested that Eric’s stress level had more to do with his being cast out of his own company than anything else. But Brooke was adamant that Katie was solely to blame for her ignorant desire to succeed at something on her own.
Katie admitted that she may have missed signs that it was too much for Eric. She said that if Eric was hurt because of her, she would regret it for the rest of her life. “What about you?” Katie asked.
Brooke seemed confused, so Katie told Brooke how she and Ridge made Eric feel small and worthless. She asked if Brooke could get down off her pedestal long enough to admit her own guilt.
Ridge Hears Eric

Upstairs, Ridge told Eric he felt bad for sending him away but wanted him back now. “You hurt me,” Eric whispered huskily through tears.
Ridge acknowledged that, but didn’t understand why Eric had gone to work for Spencer. Eric told him straight up that he didn’t regret going to Logan, as he needed to work.
Eric told Ridge that he humiliated him when he was forced to retire. Ridge yelled that his fear was walking into the office and finding him dead on the desk. Eric said his fear was being useless.
Ridge asked Eric to return to Forrester and work with him like they used to. He said he could protect him from working too much and take care of him.
Ridge offered to put it all behind them like it never happened, but Eric told him it did. He lectured him about how people in his generation were so disrespectful to his generation.
Eric told Ridge he didn’t need to protect him, and if he died at his desk, so be it. He told Ridge to get out of his way and let him do what he wanted. Ridge cried as he reluctantly promised Eric that he would. After they hugged, Eric told Ridge that he was coming home.
