The Bold and the Beautiful Recap August 3: Electra Says Goodbye to Will, Finn Confides In Li

TL;DR: In today’s The Bold and the Beautiful recap Monday, August 3rd, 2026, Finn admitted Steffy would never accept Sheila, RJ defended Dylan after Electra slapped her, and Electra tearfully said goodbye to Will.

Finn came to his office and told his mom that Steffy was upset about Sheila. He knew Sheila wanted into their lives but said Steffy would never allow it. “In Steffy’s mind, Sheila is and always will be a threat,” Finn explained. Li could tell that Finn didn’t agree.

Finn said that he understood Steffy’s concern but pointed out that banning Sheila hadn’t made her worry any less. He shared his suggestion about having limited visitation to appease Sheila but also keep her at arm’s length. He assured Li, though, that no matter his feelings about Sheila, he would prioritize Steffy.

Li admitted that Sheila was handling what happened with Deacon better than she expected. Still, Finn said Sheila needed to back off and take no for an answer.

RJ Takes Dylan’s Side

At Forrester Creations, RJ told Dylan that she had hurt Electra and betrayed their friendship. Dylan reminded him that Electra said she and Will would never get back together. RJ was still concerned that Electra had been told.

Dylan recapped what was said and said she was trying to have an honest conversation. RJ couldn’t believe that Dylan told Electra that she was in love with Will. Dylan argued that Electra moved on and couldn’t keep a hold on Will.

RJ said that Electra expected her to be her friend and not make a move on her ex. Dylan complained that Electra always put her own feelings first and said she had feelings too. She told him about the whole conversation and how Electra slapped her.

Dylan said she would pack her things as it was only a matter of time before Electra tried to get her fired again. She didn’t want to get Electra in trouble for slapping her, but also didn’t want to get hit again. She pointed out that she had pushed aside her feelings, but Electra insisted they were over. 

RJ agreed that Will and Electra didn’t belong together, and Dylan brought out a better side of Will. He didn’t like the way Electra found out, but thought that Dylan and Will were a better fit. Dylan noted that RJ and Electra were better together as well.

Will Begs Electra For Another Chance

At the beach house, Will implored Electra to give them another chance, telling her that he was only with Dylan because Electra left him again and said it was forever. He wished he could explain how lost he was without her. Electra was focused on how much kissing and petting had gone on the night before, but Will just wanted to talk about how much he believed in them. “Tell me you believe in us, too,” he pleaded.

Electra still focused on Dylan and accusing Will of lying. She couldn’t understand how he could be with someone else if he really believed in them. Will told her that his life imploded and he believed it was over, but when she walked through the door, he knew that it couldn’t be true.

Will begged Electra to see past their family’s feud and come home. “I wish I could, but I can’t,” Electra cried. She said she followed her heart last time, and he promised things would be different. Instead, he hit RJ and Eric, and claimed he let his mom “derail her show.”

Electra Says Goodbye to Will

Electra said that she owed her life to Eric and Ridge, and he might not like what they say about him, but they were right. She wished that they could get back together and pretend none of it happened, but she couldn’t. She said they loved one another, but it always ended in tears. “I never wanted you to leave,” Will said. “I never wanted to go,” Electra cried.

Electra told Will he was her first love, but they always came up short when they tried to make it work. She thought it must be because Forresters and Spencers didn’t really work. She told Will that Dylan was a shark and if they didn’t go all the way the night before, they would soon.

Electra told Will to go live his Spencer life, and she would be a Forrester. But she said she couldn’t keep putting herself through this as she had too much self-respect. “Goodbye Will,” Electra told him before leaving.
