The Bold and the Beautiful Recap August 24: Dylan Comforts Will, and Steffy Keeps a Secret

TL;DR: In today’s The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Monday, August 24th, 2026, Will and Electra’s relationship hit another breaking point, Electra turned to RJ and their plans for a new Forrester line, Dylan encouraged Will to move on with her, and Steffy agreed to keep her secret with Carter.

The Bold and the Beautiful Recap August 24

At Bikini, Will tried again to reason with Electra about saying they needed to live separate lives. She told him that she couldn’t get over seeing him talking to Dylan, and she had too much self-respect to go on the way it was. Electra told Will he was her first love and always would be.

Will said he was done begging her and to enjoy her secret project with RJ. Electra clapped back, saying to have fun with his cuddle buddy, Dylan. RJ walked over, and Electra asked if he was ready to leave. He looked triumphantly at Will as he said he was, and the two walked out together. A dejected Will paid his bill to Dylan and told her he’d “see her around.”

RJ Planned For Electra’s New Lines

RJ took Electra to his house, where she changed into a halter top and shorts and they drank some beer. She said that she cherished her job and couldn’t believe Will threw that in her face. RJ told her that Spencer was only mad because he wasn’t getting what he wanted. “He’s hurt too. I will always love Will, but I just cannot continue to put up with him and Dylan,” she said.

Electra looked around RJ’s place and noted that he had books. “You can read,” she said. RJ said he could tell he was going to regret bringing her there, but she meant she was just surprised he found time to read. RJ told her to stop focusing on Will and think about the new line. 

RJ said that he was going to make his pitch to Steffy and Ridge as soon as they were back. “Forrester’s in a lot of trouble. But you and me can save it,” he said confidently.

“The Electra line is going to be the future of Forrester,” RJ promised. Electra gushed about her fashion and jewelry lines and thanked RJ for believing in her. She said he was a prince, and he accepted the crown.

Dylan Distracted Will

Will went home and cracked a beer on the deck. In a flashback, he recalled the conversation he just had with Electra at Bikini. Dylan walked up and asked if he had a beer for her, too. 

Will griped about Electra keeping a secret with RJ, knowing it would bother him. He said he had to tell Electra that he was done putting up with her. Dylan said that he had some sort of complex that he wasn’t good enough for Electra, but she liked him the way he was, flaws and all.

Dylan told Will to quit being so moody, broody, and down all the time and start having some fun. She told him he deserved someone who had his back all the time. “You know that spark that we have? Why not see where it leads?” Dylan asked. Will kissed her.

After a makeout session, Dylan and Will paused to talk about Electra. Will said he still loved her, and Dylan understood his feelings wouldn’t go away overnight. However, she was up for the challenge of making him forget.  After going for a swim in the ocean, Will pulled Dylan under the outdoor shower with him. They made out again.

Ridge Interupted Steffy and Carter

At Forrester, Ridge wanted to know what the loud voices were about. Steffy said she was just telling Carter what happened with Finn and it got animated. She updated Ridge that she and Finn had made up, and he hugged her in relief. Over his shoulder, she and Carter exchanged looks that indicated they weren’t done arguing.

Ridge lamented what Finn did and said he didn’t like it. However, he said Finn was a good husband and dad, and noted that they’d always been faithful. That triggered Steffy to well up, so he asked what was going on while Carter sat nervously behind them.

Ridge encouraged Steffy to move on from worrying about Sheila, whom he now calls Carter, which gave Steffy a jolt when he said the “Carter thing was behind them.” 

Carter Begged Steffy To Keep Their Secret

Ridge thanked Carter for being there for his daughter when he wasn’t and for always being such a good friend to him. He added that the worst times for him were when Carter tried taking over the company and having an affair with Hope because she was like a daughter to Ridge now.

“But we don’t have to talk about that,” Ridge said as he got a call that took him away. Alone again, Carter reminded Steffy that they were exhausted and emotional, and for one fleeting moment, they found peace in each other’s arms.

Steffy said again that she needed to tell Finn and believed he’d get past it. Carter said Daphne would not, and he would lose everything. He begged her to keep their secret, and reluctantly, Steffy finally agreed. “I’ll keep it a secret. I’ll do it for Finn and my kids. Do it for Daphne, and I’ll do it for you. I’ll delete it out of my mind like it never happened. Nothing will ever come of that night,” Steffy agreed.
