The Bold and the Beautiful Recap August 20: Carter Begs Steffy To Keep Their Secret

TL;DR: In the Bold and the Beautiful recap for Thursday, August 20th, 2026, Carter and Daphne reunited, Steffy accepted Finn’s apologies, Electra told Dylan that Will was kinda hers forever, RJ presented Electra and a youth line to Eric, and Carter begged Steffy not to tell anyone what they did.

The Bold and the Beautiful Recap August 20

At home, Steffy told Finn that she needed to talk to him about her huge mistake, but Finn, thinking she meant taking off her rings, said that they both made mistakes. He told Steffy that all they had to do was agree to reunite and all would be okay. They made up and hugged, but still looking guilty, Steffy went to the office.

Meanwhile, in the CEO’s office, Daphne kept pleading for her marriage, but Carter just looked guilty. Daphne apologized profusely until he put the ring back on her finger, and she renewed her vows to him. As they hugged, Steffy walked in. 

After Daphne left, Carter told Steffy that no one could know their secret. Steffy said she had to tell Finn as she couldn’t lie to him. Carter begged her not to say anything because they would lose everything, from their marriages to his relationship with Ridge. Steffy didn’t know what to do.

Electra Tells Dylan She Can’t Have Will

In the design room, Electra and Dylan kept arguing about Will. Dylan reminded Electra that she broke up with Will and said she would never want to be with him again. Electra’s POV was that Dylan knew how she felt and waited for her chance to swoop in.

Dylan asked why she had to deny her feelings for Will after Electra cast him aside. Electra explained that Dylan was supposed to suppress her feelings because she would always love Will, even though they couldn’t be together.

Eric overheard the arguing and asked Dylan to take some designs to the cutting room so he could talk to Electra about the jewelry line. Electra told Eric that she knew the line wasn’t doing as well as they’d hoped, but he said nothing at Forrester was doing well lately, thanks to Logan.

RJ Makes A Pitch To Eric

In the showroom, RJ talked to Zende about Forrester’s lack of a youth line. He left and found Eric in with Electra. RJ said that Hope did them a favor because HFTF was stale and they needed something new. He suggested that Electra be the face of a new youth line, since she’s so beautiful, elegant, strong, and compassionate.

RJ and Electra exchanged looks as he spoke about her. Eric thought the idea was worth considering.
