The Bold and the Beautiful Recap August 19: Katie and Electra Go After Dylan, Steffy Buckles With Guilt

TL;DR: In the Bold and the Beautiful recap for Wednesday, August 19th, 2026, Steffy was plagued by guilt as Finn fought for their marriage, Daphne told Carter she wanted their marriage and a family, Katie set her sights on ridding Will of Dylan, and Electra threatened Dylan’s job.

The Bold and the Beautiful Recap August 19

At home, Finn told Steffy how badly he messed up in Monaco and asked if there was any way back. As Finn begged for forgiveness, Steffy had flashbacks to waking up next to Carter. She cried, but he didn’t know the real reason why. 

Steffy told him that she overreacted in Monaco, but she needed him to stand up for her with Sheila. Finn agreed with everything she was saying, and asked her not to let one terrible mistake tear them apart. He said he’d get a restraining order if he needed to keep Sheila away.

Finn explained that he tried too hard to keep the peace and lost sight of what mattered. Finn begged Steffy to forgive him for failing her and their marriage and said he would step up and be the man she deserved. He rattled off how perfect she was and how she should be honored. 

Finn worried while Steffy sobbed, and said he’d never seen her like this before. She told him it wasn’t rage, but he told her how honest, loyal, and committed she was. “I wish that were true. But it isn’t,” Steffy said gravely. “There’s something I have to tell you. Something you need to know.”

In The Room Where It Happened

In the CEO’s office, Carter told Daphne he was shocked that she left him, let alone came back. Daphne insisted that she made a mistake. She said he was her husband and wanted a life and a family with him. She said she made the biggest mistake running away, but their vows were til death do us part.

Daphne said Carter told her he’d follow her to the ends of the earth for her and to save them, and she realized she should do the same. She told him she wanted their marriage and asked him to forgive her.

Electra Pulls Rank On Dylan

In the design room, Dylan startled Electra as she was thinking about Will. “Oh, sorry I didn’t realize anyone was in here,” Dylan said. “Why, because that’s where you do your best work — behind my back?” Electra snapped. Dylan said she didn’t want to fight with her.

Electra was cold and frosty. She told Dylan that her name was on the building and the checks she cashed. She said it would be easy to get rid of Dylan if she wanted. “Somewhere along the line, you forgot who you’re dealing with. I am Electra Forrester. If I wanted… you’re gone,” she seethed. 

“You’re threatening to get me fired?” Dylan asked. “This is my home,” Electra told her. She went back to telling her to do the decent thing and quit. Dylan said if she left Forrester, she wouldn’t be able to make ends meet. Electra told her she was playing the victim so she could run back into Will’s arms, but said she would never let that happen.

Electra insisted that Dylan played her and Will and probably hoped she’d be fired so she could run back to him to cry for sympathy. “It’s not going to happen,” Electra promised. She said that she was the one who took her in off the streets, and Dylan would be nowhere without her. That said, Electra told Dylan she would make sure that she never stabbed her in the back again.

Katie Warns Will About Dylan

At the beach house, Katie came to see Will and asked why, if he wanted to be with Electra, he was fooling around with Dylan. Will said that she was cool and fun, and that Katie should like her. Katie asked if Dylan told him how she idolized them and tracked their moves for years. She wondered why Dylan wound up on Will’s doorstep when she was homeless instead of her cousin’s.

Will thought that was obvious, given her cousin was Remy, but Katie suggested that “crazy ran in the family.” Will said he didn’t know why she hated Dylan so much and insisted she was a good person. Katie was sure Dylan had been watching and waiting for the moment to make her move, and she warned Will that she was one of those people who preyed on someone like him.
