The Bold and the Beautiful Recap August 11: Deacon Proposes to Taylor as Sheila Watches Finn and Steffy

TL;DR: In today’s The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Tuesday, August 11th, 2026, Deacon proposed to Taylor, Brooke and Ridge learned Katie hired Fanny, and Sheila watched Finn and Steffy reunite in Monaco.

The Bold and the Beautiful August 11

At the Finnegans’ house, Deacon and Taylor had some more alone time, but Taylor kept talking about Finn and Steffy’s relationship, and then about Sheila. Deacon changed the topic by recounting how he and Taylor fell in love. He said that he couldn’t believe he was lucky enough for her to want him, too.

Deacon told Taylor all the reasons he loved her, and how being with her made him feel like a better man. She told him everything was mutual, and he laughed; that was a relief, considering what he had planned next. Deacon pulled out a ring and got on one knee. He held it up in front of Taylor as he asked her to marry him.

Ridge and Brooke Get a Shock About Katie

In the hotel room in Monaco, Ridge muttered about Spencer as Brooke complained not to leave out Katie, noting how she stole Eric and poached Hope, and she would never forgive her for either. Ridge told Steffy that the sales numbers were down and blamed Logan for it. He said they needed to do something big.

Steffy left to meet Finn, hoping he’d get there on time as planned, while Ridge and Brooke went for a walk.

While they were out, Brooke and Ridge ran into Fanny Grayson, the perfumist they used to work with. She told them that after coming to Forrester to do a pitch recently and being rejected by Steffy, she approached Katie and got hired.

Brooke and Ridge told her they needed a moment alone to deal with this information. Fanny apologized; she assumed they knew, given Katie and Brooke were sisters. She reminded them that she came to them first but understood their loyalty to Daphne. Brooke and Ridge returned to the hotel, shocked.

Sheila Watches Finn and Steffy Reunite

On the plane, Finn clarified to Sheila that she was to get on the first flight back the moment their plane landed. He told her again how important this trip was to Steffy and didn’t want her to wreck it. Sheila booked a return flight but realized after Finn left that she had a few hours to kill, so she went sightseeing.

Sheila went right to the same church and watched Finn and Steffy reunite the way they did when they thought they’d lost everything until they found one another again. As they kissed in front of the church, Sheila was watching from the walkway above them.
