The Bold and the Beautiful Recap April 30: Hope Debates Quitting Forrester for Logan and Dylan Gets a Threat

TL;DR: In today’s Bold and the Beautiful recap, Hope faces mounting enthusiasm from Liam and Bill to leave Forrester Creations and join Katie’s Logan fashion house, even as she worries about the inevitable fallout from Brooke and Ridge. Meanwhile, Dylan and Electra revisit their fractured friendship, Dylan receives another disturbing call, and Daphne and Carter take another pregnancy test.

The Bold and the Beautiful Recap April 30

In the CEO’s office, Daphne and Carter talk about starting a family. Anxious to get started, they do another pregnancy test but are disappointed at the negative results.

Brooke Is Still Upset

Brooke and Ridge came home and discussed Katie and their evening at Eric’s. Brooke repeated her frustrations and said she didn’t know who Katie was anymore.

Brooke asked Ridge about HFTF, and he reiterated that it was about Eric, not slighting Hope. Brooke wasn’t sure Hope felt the same.

Ridge told Brooke not to worry about Hope as she was a team player. Brooke agreed but wished she could say the same about Katie. She hoped there was nothing else that could pull them apart even further.

Hope Considers Her Future

At Bill’s, Liam continued to tell Hope all the reasons she should start anew at Logan. Bill joined in, agreeing that the idea was brilliant.

Katie told Hope it would be a problem for her mother, and to consider that. Hope did, and although everything that appealed to the move made sense to consider it, she did worry about what Brooke would think.

Hope worried that Brooke would accuse Katie of poaching Hope if she made that move. Liam said that Brooke was being petty but there was plenty of room in her heart and mind for Katie’s success.

Hope pointed out that she wasn’t a designer. “You had designers at Forrester, you’ll have them here. You’re not happy at Forrester, and this is the solution,” Liam said.

Bill chimed in, telling her she was a Spencer, part of the family, and it’s a family business she should be at.

Hope was definitely interested, but she and Hope worried about the fallout from Brooke and Ridge if she did it.

Dylan Treads Carefully 

Dylan brought Electra a package in her office, and she gave her an attitude about how she’s still not used to seeing her at Forrester after everything that happened.

Dylan and Electra recapped how their friendship fell apart, and Dylan reiterated how much Will loved her. She added that RJ also wanted to be with her.

Dylan listed all the attributes that Electra had that made her special and why everyone had her on a pedestal. Electra found it all unbearable to deal with and left the office.

Dylan’s mystery caller called her again and repeated that they had unfinished business. She told them not to call her again, again.
