The Bold and the Beautiful Recap April 29

At the beach house, Finn commented that the Logan fashion show was a hit, but Steffy told him it was only because Katie stole the designs. “Katie stole from Forrester Creations,” Steffy added.

Finn noted that it put Hope in an uncomfortable position. Steffy questioned whether Hope was with them or against them.

Steffy told Finn that she had to put HFTF on pause earlier for a business decision and that Hope wasn’t happy with her.

Donna Argues With Brooke About Katie

At the Forrester mansion, Eric, Donna, Zende, Ridge, and Brooke gathered to make Eric feel better. While the men were on the balcony, Brooke ranted to Donna about Katie.

Donna was appalled at how Brooke was talking about their sister and told her so. “I have a problem with you saying that Katie stole Eric’s designs when we all know that he offered to help!” Donna reminded her.

Brooke insisted that Katie did steal the designs. “There is no other way to describe it. That’s Katie now. It’s appalling, but that’s the person that she’s become!” Brooke implored.

They got louder as they argued, and the other joined them. Zende agreed with Brooke, and Ridge said it didn’t matter because Katie was going to fail anyway.

The Forresters Commiserate

Eric agreed to move on but said Logan didn’t have ‘nothing,’ they had a successful line under their belts. Zende told Eric that he had been taken advantage of.

“Just like I was when Katie took the name Logan,” Brooke lamented. She said that when she saw Katie earlier, she claimed to be the hottest thing in L.A. fashion at the moment.

Donna said they were, but Brooke reminded everyone that Katie was going to be a big failure.

Ridge declared it was enough talk about Spencers. They continued for another moment, and then he said he got it now, that Eric would be working until the day he died.

The Spencers Celebrate

At the Spencer mansion, Hope and Liam joined Bill and Katie for a celebratory dinner. Hope and Liam talked about how HFTF was put on pause again.

Over dinner, Katie told Hope that Brooke was upset about her using the Logan name and her successful launch.

Bill explained that Forrester had never had a line called Logan, and that Eric came to them asking to be their lead designer and was paid handsomely for his designs.

Hope said that even if Brooke was upset, as her sister, she could have handled things differently. She said it would have been better if Brooke had sat on her feelings for the day and let Katie have her moment.

The group celebrated Katie’s success, and Bill toasted to the new name in fashion: Logan. Katie Logan.

Katie acknowledged that it all put Hope in an awkward position, but she said no matter what, Katie was her aunt and she would always champion her success, regardless of whether they had competitive jobs.

Liam Asks Hope to Join Logan

As they chatted, Katie noted that it was just their first collection and they needed a new lead designer. “Where do we go from here?” she mused.

Liam talked about how Forrester operated and how Eric was pushed out and then Katie was mistreated, and now it was Hope’s turn. He shared how her contributions didn’t matter yet again.

Hope wanted to keep the focus on Katie and Logan, but Liam thought it could be related. He suggested that there was a way for Hope to finally be appreciated and she could get out from under Ridge and Steffy’s tyranny.

“Katie is contemplating the future of her company right now. What if that included you?” Liam wondered. “What if Logan’s next line was yours: Hope.”
