Beyond the Gates Recap June 25: Tomas Seeks Ted’s Blessing, Ashley and Grayson Reunite, and Dani Confronts Bill

TL;DR: In today’s Beyond the Gates recap for Thursday, June 25, 2026, Tomas moves ahead with his proposal plans for Kat, Ashley and Grayson reconcile, and Dani storms into Bill’s office after his latest stunt and is caught by Hayley mid-slap.

Beyond the Gates Recap June 25

Near the elevator, Grayson told Ashley he had to see her after hearing she’d been in the tornado. He said he was glad she was okay, and then said he’d leave her alone as she preferred. As he walked away, Ashley called him back. She said they needed to talk, but didn’t want to do it there, and asked if they could meet at lunchtime at Orphey Gene’s.

Tomas Asks Ted for Kat’s Hand in Marriage

At the nurses’ station, Tomas asked Ted if they could talk. Ted said he sounded serious and asked if he should be worried about his daughter. “That depends on how you feel about me asking for Kat’s hand in marriage,” Tomas replied.

Ted noted that Tomas and Kat hadn’t been together that long, but he thought a year was long enough to know. Ted also pointed out that he was in so much of a rush that he was asking him this outside of Kat’s hospital room. Tomas was determined to ask Kat to spend the rest of their lives together.

Ted said that it wasn’t that long ago that Tomas turned down Kat to move in because they weren’t ready and didn’t see what had changed. He asked if Tomas was asking him because he really wanted to get married, or because he had just had the scare of his life.

Chelsea and Kat Talk Eva, Tomas, and Tokyo

Chelsea visited Kat, who told her about Leslie’s visit. Kat said that now that she donated part of her liver to her, maybe Eva could quit hating on her so much for growing up with Ted and the time lost. Chelsea wondered if it worked both ways, and Kat would quit hating Eva for existing.

Kat shrugged with indifference, but told her that she’d reached her limit on kindness towards Kat, and she would never be her sister. Chelsea showed Kat her new handbag design called “Heroes,” and they decided to donate the proceeds to first responders and people who lost their homes in the tornado.

Kat noted what good partners they were, which was the perfect lead-in for Chelsea to bring up Tomas. She asked flat-out if Tomas was her life partner, but Kat said they were nowhere near the marriage stage and hadn’t even moved in together. Chelsea said that a crisis like a tornado can crystallize things for people, but Kat said it can also make you realize you want to live young and free.

Chelsea said she was just making sure. She told Kat she was ready for their meeting in Tokyo, but Kat insisted on joining her in person rather than just participating via livestream. As Chelsea was reminding her that she was not just recuperating but also rejuvenating her liver, Ted overheard and told Kat she was grounded.

Bill and Hayley Revisit Old Fantasies

At Uptown, Bill was still reliving the elevator ride with Dani, and Hayley noticed his distraction. He said that sometimes a major event like a tornado changes a person. She said he seemed haunted by it.

Bill turned his focus onto Hayley, and they talked about fantasies they had and used to play out. Naomi noted that Bill taught her things in the bedroom, like how sexy it was to role-play. Bill told her there was another fantasy he wanted to have and whispered in her ear before leaving.

Hayley called Randy to join her and fumed that she had to have sex with Bill in his office when all she really wanted to do was kill him. Randy reminded her to move slowly and steadily.

Naomi Pushes Dani About Bill

At the club, Dani and Naomi met and talked about their relief that Kat was okay. Dani compared Eva and Kat to her and Hayley, and referred to Bill as her husband. Naomi called her out on that and wondered what was up with her and Bill doing that type of thing lately.

Dani said that old habits die hard, so Naomi asked if old habits included fantasizing about one another. Dani let it slip that Nicole was fantasizing about Ted and denied anything between her and Bill.

Naomi was convinced that there were some real feelings going on between Bill and Dani, but Ashley called from Orphey Gene’s and needed to talk to her. Naomi left, but Dani looked like she was still in the hot seat.

Ashley Forgives Grayson

Naomi found a nervous Ashley at Orphey Gene’s. She told Ashley that until she met June, she didn’t realize how opulent her family was and that other people have needs she couldn’t even fathom. She was someone who would do anything for her family, though, and, from that perspective, could understand what Grayson was doing for his mom at first, even though it spun out of his control.

Naomi left Ashley, saying that she could handle things on her own. Grayson arrived, and Ashley told him she wasn’t known for forgiveness; in the past, she had let someone she loved go because of her inability to forgive. She told Grayson she understood what he did, asked him to stop apologizing all the time, and promised never to lie to her again.

Grayson was very relieved to have been given another chance. They agreed that they had a connection and that it was real. Ashley said she also struggled in previous relationships, trying to be who people expected her to be, but with him, she finally felt like she was being herself. Grayson and Ashley kissed and made up.

Anita Gets Good News and Tomas Shifts His Proposal Plans

At the hospital, Anita and Vernon waited for the doctor for her appointment. When he arrived, he told her that her tests were good, and she was ready for the lumpectomy operation.

Later, they went to the club, and Naomi met them for lunch. They talked about Kat, Martin, and Anita’s health, and she noted how relieved she was that the BRCA gene didn’t get passed on past Dani, making Naomi look guilty.

Tomas passed by, and they asked him to join them, but he was there to meet an event coordinator. He said he wanted to plan a surprise party, but they all cringed. Anita told Tomas that Kat would be overwhelmed by a big event, but he said he could keep it small, so she gave him her nod of approval then. Anita suggested he have the party at her house instead, and he reluctantly handed over the reins.

Dani Confronts Bill in His Office

Dani went to Bill’s office, enraged, and said she could kill him. Bill told the person he was talking to on the phone that he would have to call them back, as another tornado had just blown in.

Dani went off on Bill, accusing him of trying to blow up her marriage. She could tell he wasn’t even trying to keep it a secret, but it was clear that they were never getting back together, and she loved Andre.

Bill asked why they had sex if she loved Andre so much. It got heated, and Dani was so enraged that she went to slap him, but he grabbed her arm just as Hayley walked in. When she asked what was going on, Dani realized she was wearing just a trench coat.

Hayley fumed when Dani said that Bill couldn’t even give her new fantasies. Dani swiped that nothing would ever beat the original as she marched out, leaving Bill to deal with Hayley on his own.
