Beyond the Gates Recap June 11: Andre Is Impaled, Eva Collapses, and Dani and Bill Reunite

TL;DR: In today’s Beyond the Gates recap, the aftermath of a devastating tornado leaves the country club in chaos. While survivors triage injuries and search for the missing, unexpected romance blossoms for Kyle and Hayley, and sparks fly between Dani and Bill in a trapped elevator.

Beyond the Gates Recap June 11

In the country club, Leslie sheltered with Vernon and Anita as Dani and Bill realized in the elevator that it sounded like a tornado.

After the tornado passed, everyone began helping those who were hurt. Vernon instructed Shonda to set up a triage in the kitchen, and Leslie tended to Anita’s sprained ankle until Izaiah found her and said that he couldn’t find Eva.

Andre Is Found Injured

In the dining room, Smitty and Nicole discovered Andre under some debris with an impaled leg. Shanice advised he could bleed out if they moved him. Ted was able to get his medical bag and stitch him up.

Vernon got the walkie-talkies out, and Nicole was able to communicate with Anita just after Naomi and Ashley made it downstairs. They confirmed who was accounted for and who wasn’t, realizing they hadn’t found Martin, Kat, or Dani yet.

The Search Continues

In the ballroom, Ted and Nicole wondered where Kat was, and Smitty was asking if anyone had seen Martin. With no way out at either end of the hallways, no one could go outside either as there were live wires.

Andre talked to Ashley on the walkie-talkie as the ballroom was cut off from those in the lobby. She assured him that Dani would be okay, and so would he.

Martin Is Discovered Beneath the Debris

Joey described Hayley to Jack and Diane and asked if they’d seen her. They thought that maybe it was the woman that Kyle was with, but hadn’t seen him, yet, either. Meanwhile, Ashley saw a pant leg and a shoe under a tree that had crashed through the outer wall. Jack, Smitty, and Joey lifted it, and they found Martin, unconscious, underneath.

As people tried to revive Martin, Joey came over to talk to Jack as Abby tried to get reception on her phone. As she wandered across the ballroom, Diane screamed as the chandelier started to fall above Abby.

Kyle and Hayley Become Trapped Together

Kyle had grabbed Hayley, and they sheltered in a utility closet. As the storm passed, items were blown around, and now they were trapped inside as the door was blocked on the outside.

Hayley thanked Kyle for saving her life. They were close when Kyle removed shards of glass from her hair, and they began kissing. Immediately after, Hayley confessed that the “date” she was referring to earlier was actually her husband.

Kyle told her that he wasn’t one to judge by his own discretion. Kyle officially introduced himself, and Hayley realized he was one of the VIPs at the function.

Eva Collapses as Kat Calls for Help

In another utility room, Kat was yelling for help as she and Eva were trapped inside while a broken pipe spewed hot water. Kat snapped at Eva to help, but Eva sat on the floor, saying she didn’t feel right.

Kat wasn’t paying attention as she was yelling, but Eva kept saying there was something wrong. She heard someone yelling for them and realized it was Izaiah. When Kat finally looked at Eva, she was spewing a lot of blood uncontrollably, and then went unconscious.

Dani and Bill Reconnect in the Elevator

In the elevator, Bill calmed down Dani, who was desperate to get out and find her daughters. He distracted her by reminding her of a time they were on the beach in a windstorm with the girls when they were little. He soothed her nerves, telling her that the good thing was they were fine and likely Naomi and Chelsea were as well.

Despite Bill’s protests, Dani insisted on escaping through the hatch. But when she made him get ready to prop her up, they began bantering, and he made her laugh while they walked about the way she’d tease him.

When Bill had Dani on his shoulders, she was pushing on the hatch door, but downstairs, Vernon got the generator going. While most were relieved that the power came back on, Dani was electrocuted and fell.

Bill caught Dani, and they were pressed up against the wall, but it didn’t take long before the two were kissing passionately and taking things much further against the elevator walls.
