TL;DR: In today’s Beyond the Gates recap for Friday, July 24, 2026, Kat lashes out at Chelsea over Eva, Bill experiences another health scare, Dani grows suspicious of Andre, and Heather sets her sights on Smitty.

Beyond the Gates Recap for July 24

At the club, Kat was meeting with Samantha about ChelseaKat when Chelsea and Eva’s livestream started. Kat was in a good mood until she saw the screen and felt they were too close.

Chelsea had her arm around Eva as she interviewed her for the Hero line, as Kat narrated with insults. Samantha was offended, pointing out that Eva was her aunt and she liked her. Kat doubled down and added why it was okay for her to talk about Eva that way.

Eventually, Kat told Samantha to leave as she didn’t want to hear anyone defend Eva. She was also miffed that Chelsea was doing the livestream at all instead of meeting them as planned.

Smitty Shares His Findings

Smitty came to the police department and told Jacob that he wrapped up the interview with Lia, but as Jacob predicted, she didn’t tell him anything new. Smitty told Jacob how Hayley’s story about being worried about Lynette’s disappearance didn’t jibe with Lia’s story, and Dani and Naomi had heard different accounts from Hayley as well.

Jacob thought it was interesting but couldn’t take it on at the moment. Smitty went to leave, but bumped into Elon, who told Smitty that he had to start going through the proper channels for information from now on.

After Smitty left, Jacob was dismissive of Elon about letting the Impaler case go, but Elon gave him a reality check on his attitude and tone.

Bill’s Symptoms Continue

At home, Hayley gave Bill workout clothes. They exercised together, and then she gave him a drink with “electrolytes” because she cares so much.

Bill remembered the livestream Chelsea was doing and he turned it on. He watched it twice, and his hand started shaking while he was holding his phone. Hayley noticed but Bill dismissed it and said he was fine.

Dani Questions Andre

At their home, Dani was still drinking the champagne that was delivered when Vanessa came by. Andre didn’t want to drink it and made an exit, claiming he was going to the club to see Diego and work on his golf game.

Vanessa and Dani had some bubbly and talked about Dani cheating on Andre and risking losing everything she loved. Vanessa told her to forget it happened, and reminded her she wasn’t a philanderer like Bill, it was a one-off, and she should live happily ever after.

They turned on the livestream and were watching when Vanessa noticed Andre in the background. They watched as he got a pick up order from the counter then stood in the background tapping his phone, deep in thought.

Andre brought up photos on his phone. In one, he was having a glass of champagne with someone you can’t see at a table. In the second, he was raising the glass, and the bottle was the same as the one that was delivered.

Dani wanted to call him and find out why he lied to her but Vanessa talked her down, saying there was probably a good reason and that he was trustworthy.

After Vanessa left, Andre returned, and Dani asked him immediately about golf. Andre pulled out the takeout bag and said he changed his mind and thought they could have a cheat day instead, and showed her the cake he got for them from the diner.

Chelsea and Kat Clash

Later, Chelsea showed up and got a frosty reception from Kat. She told her that she saw Eva get her the way she did her parents and boyfriend.

Chelsea tried to explain that she did the interview with Kat’s permission, and kept her anonymous as the donor, just like she wanted. Kat didn’t want to hear it and stormed out on her.

Heather Makes a Threat

At the casino, Joey was surprised by Heather coming in. She told him she was there to tie up a loose end in the plasma ring. Joey reminded her that she was treading on his territory and that he wanted more details.

Heather said an annoying reporter was asking too many questions, and she had to take him out. When she said it was Smitty, he shut down that idea because he was married to a Congressman that he needed focused on his campaign.

Heather thought it was a win for all because a grieving Congressman would be good for sympathy votes. Joey put his foot down, so Heather agreed on the condition that Joey would get Smitty to drop the storyline as it was beginning to get national attention.

Joey had to deal with an issue on the casino floor and told her to make herself at home while he was gone. She was sitting in Joey’s chair when Vanessa walked in, who demanded to know who she was. Heather looked up, recognized her, and said, “Did you really think you were the only woman in Joey’s life?”
