Beyond the Gates Recap Dec 15: Hayley and Lynette meet, Anita has a biopsy, Joey asks Bill to run against Martin

In the Beyond the Gates recap for Monday, December 15, 2025, Joey had a proposal for Bill, Anita had a medical procedure, and Hayley had another name.

At Bill’s office, he introduced Hayley to his new client, Lynette Wise. Before she left, she told Hayley she hoped to see her again soon, and the look exchanged between the two made it clear they knew one another.

Later, Hayley called Randy and told him that Lynette was in town. Apparently, she used to run scams with Hayley and knew exactlywho she was.

At the casino, Joey was miffed when he found out that the feds were zeroing in on money launderers. With the enforced regulations, he felt he was under too much scrutiny. To further make him worry, his attempts at paying off key officials weren’t working — and he blamed Smitty.

Joey went to Bill’s office and suggested that he run for Congress against Martin instead. Bill balked but Joey pointed out that Mrs. Hamilton would probably love the role as the wife of a Congressman. Half-jokingly, Bill called Hayley and told her about it after Joey left. Hayley freaked out then said she was worried it would interfere with her promised vacation. Bill said she had nothing to worry about and turned Joey down.

Anita met with Nicole for lunch but had a call from the doctor, who let her know there was a cancellation. Anita went in and had a biopsy, going through all of the emotions and fear that it brings. She ensured that her privacy was maintained and that it wouldn’t be mentioned to anyone in her family that she’d had the biopsy.

Meanwhile, Vernon was at Dani’s, asking Andre to retouch a photo of him and Anita that he found in an old newspaper article. When Andre ran home to run his app, Vernon wondered why he was still living in his own apartment, if their marriage was so great, but Dani assured him they were very much in love.
