Beyond the Gates Recap August 4: Leslie Manipulates Noah as Carlton Discovers Nicole With Kial

TL;DR: In today’s Beyond the Gates recap for Tuesday, August 4th, 2026, Carlton caught Nicole and Kial together, Leslie tried to manipulate Noah with stories about Anita, Eva opened up to Izaiah about her scar, and Bill canceled his trip to St. Bart’s with Hayley.

Beyond the Gates Recap August 4

In the lobby of the club, Izaiah told Jacob that Eva was doing well in her recovery, but he was trying to be hands-off in the bedroom as he didn’t want to hurt her while she was recuperating from surgery. Jacob advised him not to assume, and that Eva was a strong woman who could tell him what she wanted.

Izaiah went to Uptown to meet Eva, who was there with Noah after his first day. She said she was impressed by how he’d handled a patient as Leslie came in, and he took that as validation that she made the right choice in hiring him.

Leslie mentioned Eva’s transplant, surprising Noah. Eva cringed as Leslie told him the story. Izaiah came in as Eva was telling Noah and her mom that she was tired of people treating her differently because of her surgery, assuring them she was okay.

Leslie Gossips About Anita

Leslie offered to buy everyone dinner, but Eva and Izaiah wanted to go home, and Noah said he’d stay. Eva tried to persuade him to go so he wouldn’t be left alone with Leslie, but he insisted on staying.

Once alone, Leslie bought her and Noah food and drinks. They talked about his dreams of a music career, and she told him about her mom being a singer. Leslie added that she was given up for adoption, and that eventually, her mom ‘unalived herself.’

Leslie shared that it was Anita Dupree who betrayed her mom. She told him the story, and how Anita admitted her wrongdoing at a concert, and now was paying the price for her misdeeds via her trust fund. Leslie said that Anita owed her some favors, and if he wanted, she’d put in a good word about getting him some help in the music industry.

Eva Opens Up to Izaiah

When Eva and Izaiah got home, they were getting cuddly, but Eva pulled his hand away as she’d done before. This time, Izaiah took Jacob’s advice and asked why. She told him that she was self-conscious about her scar.

Izaiah assured Eva that he loved everything about her, including her scar. Once they talked, everything went back to normal between them, and they got romantic without reservations.

Carlton Walks In on Nicole and Kial

At the hospital, Carlton came to Nicole’s office and told her he’d missed her lately as he’d been busy. He suggested they go to the club to catch up, but Nicole said she was super tired and wanted to go home and soak in the tub with a candle.

Carlton thought that sounded good and asked to join her, saying she could rest in his arms. Nicole told him that as they hadn’t slept together in a while, she’d like to be as awake as possible. Carlton was understanding, but just after he left, Kial came in.

Nicole and Kial recounted how they’d been up all night fooling around. He told her that Noah was sleeping on the couch and asked if Nicole would like some company that evening. Nicole said she wanted to wake up wrapped in his arms, and they talked about how attached they’d become and how much they enjoyed it.

They left with their arms around one another, talking about how they were going to go home and just sleep with no acrobatics. As they laughed and hugged waiting for the elevator, Carlton walked up behind them and saw.

The Dupree Women Investigate Hayley

At Naomi’s, Kat suggested they do a stakeout on Hayley to catch her with Randy in a hotel room. Naomi said she was working in Bill’s office that day, and she could look for a copy of Bill and Hayley’s prenup.

After Naomi left, Jacob came in, and they told him that they were looking into Hayley. Tomas called and asked Kat to meet him at the office, and Dani said she was going as well. Once alone, Chelsea told Jacob that they thought Hayley was cheating on Bill.

Naomi’s Search Hits a Roadblock

At Bill’s office, Caroline told Naomi that Bill was working from home that day, so she went on his laptop to start looking for the prenup. Tomas came in, saw her working, and questioned why.

Naomi assured him she didn’t want to work there full time, and told him to stop looking at her like a rival. She suggested he wasn’t getting brownie points for coming straight from the airport to work, as Bill was at home, and he should go see Kat instead.

Tomas backed off, but after Naomi left, he suspiciously looked at Bill’s laptop to see what she’d been doing. When Kat got there, he complained that Naomi was at Bill’s desk again, but Kat told him not to worry about it.

Kat told him that Naomi wasn’t there to run the office; she was there on a secret mission. She filled him in and asked for his help, but Tomas said after visiting his family he was more determined than ever to provide, and he couldn’t do that if he lost his job.

Tomas pointed out that if they were right and Bill’s marriage blew up, he’d be upset. Bill wouldn’t turn on his family, but Tomas thought he would shoot the messenger and didn’t want to be it.

Jacob Joins the Investigation

Naomi went back home and told Chelsea that she didn’t get Bill’s prenup as she was interrupted. Chelsea went to Uptown to try to get information from Caroline, who was headed there.

Once alone, Naomi told Jacob some of the details, including about Randy, and noted he worked for Joey. Jacob thought they should compare notes, and said he was all in.

Jacob was confident that Naomi and Chelsea would use common sense but thought Dani and Kat were reactive and could cause problems. He already arrested Dani once at Bill’s wedding, and said he didn’t want to have to do it again.

Chelsea Questions Caroline

At Uptown, Chelsea conveniently ran into Caroline, who mentioned she didn’t hang out with Hayley anymore. Chelsea asked who she did hang out with now, saying she was asking out of concern for her dad.

Caroline admitted she’d been concerned as well. “If you find out anything about what is keeping Hayley occupied, I’d appreciate a heads up,” Chelsea told her.

Bill Has Second Thoughts About St. Bart’s

At the club, Bill noticed his hand trembling at the bar. When he and Hayley sat at their table, he said he didn’t want to go to St. Bart’s after all because he was worried about his health.

Bill admitted to Hayley that he’d collapsed a few days ago, and that he wasn’t confident he should be going away. Hayley tried to sway him by showing him some open houses while they were there and purchasing a home. Bill thought Hayley sounded like she was working him, so Hayley turned on the charm. She ordered Bill a non-alcoholic whiskey.

Dani came in and approached the table; Hayley handed her the broken sunglasses, explaining that somehow, they got under her foot. Dani told Bill she was surprised he was falling for her act, and warned Hayley that the Dupree girls were there to stay.
