Beyond the Gates Recap August 6: Bill Dismisses Chelsea’s Warning as Carlton Walks Away From Nicole

TL;DR: In today’s Beyond the Gates recap for Thursday, August 6th, 2026, Bill refused to believe Chelsea’s warning about Hayley cheating with Sammy, Hayley finalized her plan for St. Bart’s, Andre received a mysterious text, Ted and Leslie made a scene at the club, and Carlton walked away from Nicole.

Beyond the Gates Recap August 6

At the law office, Bill was about to leave when Caroline asked if everything was okay with Hayley. She was checking in after having a conversation with Chelsea. Bill wanted to know what they talked about.

Caroline asked if it was possible Hayley was having an affair. Bill immediately shut it down, saying that was his marriage and she needed to stay out of it.

Andre’s Past Catches Up With Him

At home, Andre was distracted by his phone as Dani was trying to talk to him about Tatum’s collection that she was going to model. She asked him what was going on, so he told her that after the death of his parents, he bounced around Europe for a bit and did some things he wasn’t proud of.

Dani said that he didn’t need to justify his past to her. Andre started to explain what exactly he was talking about, but Chelsea came in and wanted to talk about Hayley.

Chelsea told Dani that she’d talked to Caroline and found out that Hayley wasn’t hanging out with her anymore. Dani warned that Caroline would notify Bill that she questioned her. Regardless, Chelsea wondered who Hayley was spending her time with now if not Caroline or Bill. Chelsea got a call from Bill, asking her to meet him at the club. When she asked what it was about, he abruptly hung up.

Hayley Shares Her Detailed Plan With Randy

At Uptown, Randy worried that Hayley was just winging it, but she had a plan: get Bill to St. Bart’s, give him a megadose of the poison, and then entertain him until he keels over. After that, she’ll call Randy’s contact to do a quick cremation and give her a death certificate.

Randy wondered how she would handle the family. Hayley said she’d call them and tell them that they were enjoying a holiday, and he passed away. She didn’t think they’d be able to do anything about it at that point.

Randy said, “It’s hard to investigate a crime without a body.” Hayley added that she would be “too distraught” to return to Fairmont Crest afterward, and she’d live in the Caribbean with her $10 million payout.

Randy corrected her that it was a $5 million payout for each of them. Hayley said she could come back and drain the accounts, sell the house, etc. but Randy advised her not to. He said to take the payout, stay away, and stay smart; Hayley agreed she’d just be up to scrutiny.

After Hayley left, Dani came in to meet Tatum but she saw Randy alone in the booth and joined him. She told him that she knew what he and Hayley were up to. To Randy’s surprise, Dani wanted to encourage the affair she thinks he’s having with Hayley.

Tatum arrived, so Dani joined her. Tatum wanted Dani’s opinion on her new line, so Dani gave her some of her thoughts. Tatum was impressed and said she would make some changes.

Chelsea Warns Bill

At the club, Bill met with Chelsea. He told her he was a smart man and he knew better than anyone what was going on with his wife. He shut down any discussion over it.

Chelsea tried to explain why she thought Hayley could be cheating, but Bill didn’t agree. Chelsea named Sammy as the other man, but he shut that down, too. Bill advised Chelsea to stay out of his marriage as well.

After Bill left, Chelsea messaged the group chat: Naomi, Kat, and Dani. She said she told Bill about the theory that Hayley was cheating, but Bill didn’t want to hear it.

On her way out, Chelsea ran into Andre and told him about her meeting with Bill. He advised that if someone came to him with those accusations about Dani, he’d give her the benefit of the doubt as well and not just immediately conclude to leave.

Just then, Andre got a text message from an unknown number that said, “Want to see you. I’ll be in touch.” Andre looked shocked, so Chelsea asked if he was okay. “It looks like you’d just seen a ghost.”

Hayley Doubles Down

At home, Hayley was calling Caroline, and asked him to clear Bill’s schedule as they were going to St. Bart’s. When Caroline questioned it, she snapped at her to just do it. Hayley calmed her voice and explained that they were stressed out and needed some time together.

Meanwhile, Bill went home; as he came in, his hand started shake and he lost his balance but steadied himself on the wall. Hayley got a call from Randy but ignored it when she heard Bill stumble as he came in.

When Bill came into the room, he told Hayley that his meeting with Chelsea didn’t go well. He said that Chelsea thought she was having an affair with Sammy. Hayley got frustrated that there was always something with his family, and she’d had enough.

Hayley said Sammy was an instant reminder of the worst thing that ever happened to her. Bill noted it was one year ago that they lost the baby.

Hayley couldn’t believe Chelsea brought this up on that day. She said she’d tried to ignore it but she was sick of the scrutiny by his family. “I just can’t stay here anymore,” she said. Hayley cried that she needed to go to St. Barts.

Leslie Pushes Ted Too Far

At the club, Leslie sat with Ted’s and made a plea on Eva’s behalf to have plastic surgery on her scar. Ted advised against it, but Leslie didn’t take no for an answer. Shocking, we know.

Leslie barked at Ted, making a scene as she told him he was a bad father. Ted fumed, told her to sit back down, then set her straight on what Eva needed now: emotional support while her body healed.

Leslie twisted Ted’s words to accuse him of calling Eva crazy. She said she’d go to a different doctor instead. “If Carlton is good enough for Nicole, he’s good enough for me,” Leslie seethed before walking out.

Carlton Says So Long To Nicole

At Orphey Gene’s, Carlton met with Nicole. She wanted to clear the air about Kial spending the night, as Leslie revealed. He told her that he ran into Tyrell, who wanted relationship advice. “Coincidentally, what I had to offer him gave me some clarity about you, and us,” Carlton said. He told her that he always wanted to be with her so when the opportunity presented itself, he took whatever he could get. However, the arrangement wasn’t working for him anymore.

Carlton didn’t want to share her anymore, so if she wanted to explore where things could go with him, it was time to put him first. Nicole told Carlton she knew she had been unfair. She didn’t want to hurt him, and wished him well… with someone else.

Carlton just had one question: why Kial over him? Nicole explained that being with Kial was a proper fresh start for her. There was no history there, no reminders of the past. Nicole hoped they could still be friends; he kissed her head and said so long before leaving.
