The Bold and the Beautiful Recap Jan 29: Ivy snaps after seeing too much between Will and Dylan

In the Bold and the Beautiful recap for Thursday, January 29, 2026, Will and Dylan have an emotional evening as Ivy can’t handle what she’s seeing.

In San Francisco, Steffy and Electra drank wine and chatted about life. Electra said that she trusted Will with Dylan, but she was worried about him at work.

Electra pointed out that they were Forresters, but he was a Spencer, and was concerned that Katie’s decisions would affect him.

Steffy thought that Electra truly loved Will, and was enjoying hanging out. Electra wished they were headed home so she could be curled up with Will.

Electra said she was fine with Will being with Dylan, but said that her aunt Ivy wasn’t pleased about it. Steffy said dryly that it was her experience that Ivy didn’t keep her opinion to herself.

At the beach house, Dylan was embarrassed that she fell, but Will said the place was too small for her twirls and jumps. She went to tend to Hayes, who was sleeping over.

Ivy hid in the bushes and watched as Dylan came out to the patio later, where Will was showering. He told her he’d just come from the ocean and had his nightly swim. 

Will said it made him feel great, and suggested that Dylan try it, but she didn’t want to swim when she couldn’t see a fin coming.

Will and Dylan came inside and sat next to the fire, and she asked him to tell her more about himself. Will told his life story of growing up in a boarding school and being isolated from everyone.

He said when he’d come home, everyone was always fighting or split up. Will emotionally told Dylan how he knew his dad loved him but it was hard to have a good relationship with him.

Will started to cry as he talked about his concerns of his dad hurting his mom again. As Ivy peered through the window, she watched as Dylan put her hand on his arm and comforted him.

Will apologized for getting so emotional, but said it was stuff he held in and couldn’t talk about it with anyone, especially Electra. He said he was sick and tired of feeling like a burden to her.

Dylan said that she knew a little bit of what Luna did. She said it was sick and twisted what she did to him. Will agreed and said that she had taken advantage of him that night.

Will insisted that he was good. “I’m always good, don’t need to worry about me. It’s Electra you gotta feel for — the hell I put that girl through,” he cried.

Dylan listened as Will recalled how he’d told Electra about what happened, and he saw the look of pain on her face, it had killed him. But then he had to tell her that she was pregnant with his child.

Dylan related to Will, talking about how it felt to be responsible for her death, and that she’d often wondered how bad she would’ve felt if Luna were pregnant at the time.

Will told Dylan that he was relieved Luna was gone and that there was nothing redeeming about her. He said he was finally around people who wanted the best for him.

Will said that Dylan was one of those people and was so glad she was in his life. He told her what a good person she was.

As he talked, Will moved his hand to the side of Dylan’s leg. Outside, Ivy had a fit that what she was looking at did not look proper. She shook her head in disgust.

Inside, Will and Dylan talked about her need to find a job. He listed off her attributes and said she’d find something soon.

Later, Will came outside and found Dylan showering. He was proud of her for trying something adventurous. Ivy was having a fit in the bushes, watching their exchange as they smiled at one another.

Dylan went up to her room to go to bed, but Ivy burst through the outside door. “Oh, it’s unlocked. I’m surprised it isn’t wide open with a red light above it,” she snapped.

Dylan asked why she was there. Ivy sneered that while her sweet niece was out of town, Dylan was trying to steal her boyfriend, and she wasn’t going to let her.
