General Hospital Recap Jan 27: Josslyn makes Sidwell powerless, Anna has a visitor, Charlotte disappears
In the General Hospital recap for Tuesday, January 27, 2026, Sonny warned Jason that Britt couldn’t be relied on, Brennan threatened Nina about Willow, Tracy had a plot to get her stuff back, and the storm set in as the lights went out.

At her apartment, Josslyn asked Brick how to cut the power at Spoon Island to prevent damage. He explained that she’d need access to the router but would need security clearance.
Later, Josslyn went to the power grid at Spoon Island and assessed its access.
Lucas wanted to know why Marco would hire Britt as a concierge doctor when he lived there. Before he could give him an explanation, Sidwell and Ava arrived, but Ava had the same question.
No one gave a satisfactory response, but Britt and Marco left the room to do his “check-up.” Sidwell distracted Lucas by telling him that he saw Carly and invited her to come to Wyndermere.
Lucas appreciated the gesture, but said Sidwell had no idea the level of chaos he just invited into his home. When Britt and Marco returned, she tried to make an exit but Sidwell said she should stay.
Sidwell claimed he was concerned that Britt wouldn’t make it home before the storm hit and offered her a room to stay over. Sidwell insisted on walking her to the dock.
In the foyer, Britt told Sidwell she was going to get to work in the lab but the security measures were inadequate. Sidwell warned her again that she could get killed if she didn’t comply.
Ava was going to go home but Sidwell invited her to spend the night and take shelter from the storm. Just as they were getting settled in with a fire, Josslyn cut the power.
Sidwell confirmed that the entire island was out of power. They decided to go to the mainland. Lucas suggested they take the party to Ava’s instead.
Marco asked Sidwell if it was wise to leave their other guest behind. Sidwell told him that she wouldn’t be alone.
In her room, Anna wrote on the wall when she was captured. The voice of Faison told her that he was behind the return of Britt and Nathan. “And Peter? Did he even visit me yesterday?” she wondered.
“What do you think, Anna?” Faison said. Anna said that everyone told her she was imagining he was alive, but she should’ve trusted her instincts. Faison said it was her heart’s desire.
Anna said how much she hated him and spat on the two-way mirror. He asked why she never killed him. “You’ll never escape me because I’m your soul mate,” Faison told her.
Faison continued to torment Anna, telling her that her surrender to him would be her freedom. The lights began to flicker in the room.
Just then, the door opened, a man wearing jeans and cowboy boots and long white hair entered.
At the Metro Court, Carly saw Lulu and Charlotte across the restaurant and told Jack she wanted to say hi. When Lulu left to take a call, Charlotte asked Carly to come up with a reason to invite her over.
Carly understood her feelings but warned her how dangerous it was for her to see her dad, as it would make people suspicious if they started doing things they didn’t usually do.
In the hall, Brennan waited for Nina. He told her that Charlotte and Lulu were in the restaurant and told her to find a way to get Charlotte alone and ask her about her dad.
Nina recalled Charlotte telling her that she had seen Valentin but lied to Jack, saying she had already asked and hadn’t had contact.
Brennan threatened Nina: either do it, or he’d reveal the security cam footage, and everyone would know that Willow had lied on the stand, which could be used against her in custody of the kids.
Nina joined Lulu at the table and suggested that she spend time with Charlotte to take her mind off her father. Lulu thought it was a great idea and suggested that she run it by her when she returned from the restroom. Lulu wondered what was taking her so long.
Lulu realized that Charlotte wasn’t in the ladies’ room. She told Nina she tried calling Charlotte, but she didn’t answer.
Lulu rushed over to Carly and Brennan’s table and said she was missing. Pointing out that she didn’t have her police escort, Lulu worried that Valentin had taken her.
Carly got confirmation from the doorman that Charlotte left the building alone twenty minutes prior. Brennan questioned Lulu about her last conversation with Charlotte.
Sonny warned Jason that Britt might be working against her will, but when push came to shove, she could turn on him. He said that she always thought of herself first, even when Jason was being her hero.
Brick came to Sonny’s and warned him that the payment behind the explosion of his apartment traced back to the WSB slush fund.
Brick said he was limited on what he could say to protect his source; Sonny asked if the person who tried to kill him was Jack Brennan, but Brick said that so far, the intel didn’t point in his direction.
At Q mansion, Tracy offered a painting of street performers that belonged to her dad to Gio. He was touched and envisioned it in his room at Sonny’s. Tracy said her dad would roll over in his grave if he knew it made it to Sonny’s.
Gio realized he had to wait for it anyway, as it was with the other heirlooms at Drews. Tracy said she had a key made when Scout was visiting one time, so she had access to Drew’s house. Since he was in the hospital and the house was empty, the movers were going to get her stuff out of Drew’s house.
Tracy got a call that the movers canceled due to the pending storm. She was furious as it was her only opportunity. Tracy said she’d go pack it up herself. Gio told Tracy she couldn’t.
Tracy went off about the reasons that she’d had enough of Drew, and Gio agreed. “Then why are you trying to stop me?!” Tracy snapped.
Gio told her that he wasn’t. He said he meant that she couldn’t do it alone in a blizzard, so he was going to help her. Tracy’s jaw dropped as Emma said she was all in as well.
