The Bold and the Beautiful: Will Daphne Nose Her Way Into Carter and Ridge’s Bromance?
On The Bold and the Beautiful, the brotherhood between Carter Walton and Ridge Forrester is usually considered an unshakeable bond, for sudser standards, anyway (what’s a little coup between friends, right?). But is a threat looming in horizon for their bromance?
The Bold and the Beautiful’s Carter and Ridge Bromance
Following the corporate bloodshed of 2025 — where Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) teamed up with Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) for a hostile takeover of Forrester Creations — the brother-from-another-mother bond fractured between Carter and Ridge (Thorsten Kaye).
The pair may have made up since then, and Ridge got his family company back, but as we move further into 2026, a threat could be incoming that is larger than any LLC restructuring or CEO shakeup: Daphne Rose (Murielle Hilaire).
Showrunner Bradley Bell’s 2026 preview confirms that Carter is determined to fast-track a wedding and family with Daphne. On paper, she appears to be the perfect reset for Carter: successful, fashion-savvy, and seemingly in love. But let’s analyze the facts.
Daphne vs Ridge
Daphne has shown how she can stand up to Ridge. While she’s good friends with Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), she had no problem telling Ridge and Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) that she disagreed with Eric (John McCook) being told to retire. In fact, she was the most vocal out of anyone on what they were doing was wrong and disrespectful.
Daphne didn’t wait for anyone to ask her opinion when she shook her head in shame and told Ridge that where she came from, people respected their elders for their experience and knowledge and valued time spent with them. No one was told to go seek a sunset, as Ridge did to Eric.
Now with Carter and Daphne even closer than they were then, she will likely be around Ridge even more. But Carter and Ridge both have patterns that shouldn’t be overlooked.
Carter’s Hopes for the Future
First, Ridge has an issue treating people at Forrester Creations properly. In fact, that was Carter’s original motivation behind the coup: he didn’t like the way Ridge had treated Hope, Brooke, and Katie. With Katie and Eric now at Logan, we’ll see how Daphne likes the Ridge and Brooke show at Forrester.
With Thomas and Zende designing for Hope for the Future, will Hope’s input matter? Will she be the next Logan to seek greener pastures elsewhere (like working with her brother at Logan)?
Or will Ridge encourage Brooke to revive her BeLieF formula so she can insert Logan between the Brooke and Forrester names again? Having Brooke making a fragrance in Daphne’s department could cause some friction. Maybe even enough for Daphne to take her nose to Logan.

Speaking of Carter, he’s got a pattern of not only falling in love overnight (and proposing), but losing himself in trying to satisfy his girlfriend’s desires. If Daphne is his wife, we’d expect that level of devotion to multiply. Daphne could insist that her husband not be under the thumb of the guy who still doesn’t respect him.
Considering RJ (Brayan Nicoletti) is back, it might not take long for him to be working with Ridge, and Carter will have to hear on a daily basis how he’ll never rise further than where he is at Forrester. If that’s the case, you can bet she’ll encourage the man she loves to succeed elsewhere.
But then there’s the initial chemistry between Daphne and Ridge. Would he be capable of falling prey to her charms? Seems like a long shot, but no one could resist that whiff of a mysterious fragrance emitting from that magical scarf, could they…
