In the Bold and the Beautiful recap for Wednesday, January 14, 2026, Electra showed her gratitude, Donna asked Brooke and Ridge for peace, and Katie found her lead designer.

In the Forrester design office, Dylan was ecstatic about the prospect of getting a job at the company, and told Will and Electra how grateful she was.
Across the hall in CEO’s office, Donna walked in on Ridge giving Brooke a massage. They talked about Katie, and Donna expressed her concern about the stress that launching Logan would put on Katie.
Ridge and Brooke said Katie didn’t know what she was doing, while Donna defended her experience at Forrester. Ridge thought that experiencing knowledge and implementing it were two different things.
Ridge had zero care factors, and said that Katie was taking on more than she could chew, and was doing it all alone.
Donna implored Brooke that she wanted them to all get along. Brooke complained that Katie told her to get out of her office and not to come back.
Donna said that people say things they don’t mean when they’re upset. Ridge barked that Katie disrespected Brooke.
Brooke explained to Donna that Katie shouldn’t be using the Logan name. “It’s almost like she’s stealing from Ridge and me,” Brooke added.
Ridge wondered why Katie bulldozed over everyone to get what she wanted and apologized later rather than talking before she made a move.
Brooke agreed that Katie was taking advantage of what she and Ridge built. Donna pointed out that she, Brooke, and Katie were all Logans. “Doesn’t the name belong to all of us?” Donna asked Brooke.
Ridge told her it did, but in the fashion world, when people heard “Logan,” they thought of Brooke.
Donna acknowledged Ridge’s opinon, but appealed to Brooke again directly to not let this affect their relationships but she didn’t answer.
At Logan, Eric came by as promised and was very impressed with Katie’s office. He encouraged her to believe in herself as he did.
Katie was worried as she lacked the key component for the company: a lead designer.
Katie said that everything hinged on making the right choice in designers. She wanted someone ambitious and sharp. She wanted to redefine what American luxury looked like. Something feminine, yet strong.
Eric laughed that he agreed but it would give Forrester a lot of competition. Eric asked to see some designs from the artists she was considering, so Katie handed him their portfolios.
Eric didn’t think they were a good fit. Katie wanted to do something so badly to step out from Brooke and Ridge’s shadow, but feared she was setting herself up for failure and said Brooke told her she wouldn’t succeed.
Katie told Eric that she wasn’t just trying to launch a fashion house and find a designer, she was really concerned about her relationship with her sister.
Eric thought Brooke and Ridge were mostly wounded that they let the name expire and thought it would all blow over. Eric went back to encouraging Katie.
He told her to look at the room and knew what she’d accomplish. He got her to visualize the moment she was on the runway, giving people an emotional reaction to her designs. “You’re going to love this!” he enthused.
“You know what would make me happy? I would like to be able to help an extraordinary person who knows her full worth but hasn’t reached her full potential yet because she’s missing one little foundational part,” Eric said.
Eric told Katie he wanted to do it with her — all of it. He asked to let him be her designer and to imagine them together on the runway. “We’re going to do this. We’re going to launch Logan,” Eric told her.
