The Bold and the Beautiful Recap Jan 13: Eric Makes Katie A Supportive Offer
In the Bold and the Beautiful recap for Tuesday, January 13, 2026, Katie consulted with Eric, Will and Electra brought a friend to work, and Ridge promised Brooke she could make Logan great again one day.

At the Forrester mansion, Donna told Katie that she could see both sides of the argument over the Logan name. Katie insisted Brooke never used the Logan name at Forrester. As Eric came down the stairs, Katie said she was excited but felt overwhelmed.
“In the right hands, overwhelmed can be magical. Congratulations on Logan, it’s going to be extraordinary, just like you. Katie Logan, you’re extraordinary,” Eric warmly told her.
Katie said she’d miss Forrester and didn’t agree with Eric’s retirement. Eric insisted they stay focused on her and said that he was proud of her for branching out on her own, taking the Logan name, and was going to make it bigger than it ever was.
Eric told Katie he was happy but thought it was ironic that she was starting a whole new chapter, and he was closing his. Eric said Forrester was a legacy company, and it was Ridge’s time to shine there. He was just glad he still had his pride. “And your talent,” Katie said.
After Donna left for her exercise class, Eric and Katie talked about what it was like to start a fashion house. Katie shared that she needed guidance and didn’t want to let herself down.
Eric said that if Katie wasn’t overwhelmed, she wasn’t dreaming big enough. He advised that she needed a big opening or the company would be dead.
Katie said she was putting together a team, but she needed the biggest component: a lead designer. Eric said that it took time, but Katie felt rushed as Bill was already promoting it.
Katie thought it would be easier with Brooke’s support and could hear her laughing at her for failing. Eric told Katie that Logan was her name, too. He said that Forrester wasn’t an instant hit; he needed people who believed in him.
“That’s what you’re going to get,” Eric told Katie. He said he would come to her office and see what she had, and he’d do whatever he could to help her. “Because I believe in you, Katie,” Eric told her.
In the CEO’s office, Daphne came to tell Brooke, Ridge, and Steffy about their engagement. Everyone was excited that Daphne was staying in town, and they were hopeful for their future as a married couple.
Daphne asked Brooke about Katie leaving and starting Logan. Ridge ranted about the name being stolen and how it took more than a stolen name to succeed.
Brooke explained the debate about the name to Daphne. Ridge said that Katie was disrespecting him by waking up one day and deciding to start a world-class fashion house.
Once alone, Ridge and Brooke commiserated about Katie. Brooke said she wanted to root for Katie, but she spent her entire adult life making the name Logan mean something. Ridge promised her that when Katie was done with her silly idea of starting a fashion house, Brooke could make the name mean something again.
At the beach house, Will and Electra praised one another for being so kind to Dylan, but Electra wanted to do more. They brought her downstairs and told her they wanted to help her with the fresh start she was making.
Will and Electra brought Dylan to work, where they saw Steffy. Dylan admitted that she had been living out of her car, but Will and Electra let her move in.
Will and Electra pitched to Steffy how great Dylan was as a person and suggested they get her a job. Dylan was shocked and said she knew nothing about fashion, but Steffy said they all started somewhere, like how Brooke was a caterer from the Valley.
