The Bold and the Beautiful Recap Jan 12: Daphne made her decision about Carter’s proposal
In the Bold and the Beautiful recap for Monday, January 12, 2026, Hope and Deke were on the same page, Sheila asked for help, Daphne made her decision, and Steffy shared her worries with Finn.
The Bold and the Beautiful Recap
At home, Steffy told Finn about Deacon and Taylor. Finn didn’t think that Taylor would risk her own safety and noted that she did listen to Steffy. He was hopeful she wouldn’t have anything to worry about.
At Il Giardino, Hope was talking ot Deke when Sheila interrupted. She asked Hope for her forgiveness as well and told her that their dad would be proud of her if she could give her a chance.
Sheila gushed to Hope and Deke that she and Deacon were better than ever and encouraged them both to tell Deacon that they supported their marriage.
After Sheila left them alone, Hope told Deke that she didn’t think Sheila was right because Steffy told her something. Hope and Deke realized that they both knew that Taylor and Deacon had feelings for one another.
At Taylor’s office, Deacon and Taylor talked about whether or not they were happy or just settling for what they had. Taylor told Deacon that Steffy heard them, and they needed to acknowledge the danger it posed for them with Sheila being his wife.
Deacon refused to get a new therapist and told Taylor how much he needed her. They wouldn’t come out and say it directly, but both knew they had feelings and it was wrong — but also couldn’t stay away.
After Deacon left, Taylor reviewed her etiquette manual for professionals, reminding herself of her responsibilities. Sheila burst through the door and asked her to listen.
Sheila begged Taylor for her help. She said that she had trouble winning over Hope and Deke and wanted Taylor to do something to help convince them. Sheila rambled about how much she trusted Taylor, and said Deacon was her world — and she refused to let anyone come between them.
In the salon, Daphne told Carter that she had been proposed to many times. He said it might be crazy of him to rush off to the Forrester jewelry department, grab a ring, and race off to propose to her, but he would do anything for her.
Carter listed off everything about her that he loved and how enchanted he was from the first time they met. He said he couldn’t imagine life without her and wanted a life with her. Daphne melted, told him she would marry him, and ran into Carter’s arms.
Carter and Daphne went back to his place to make love. Carter told her he’d never felt like this about anyone.
