The Bold and the Beautiful Recap Jan 6: Daphne wants to leave, Katie gives Deke hope, Sheila rattles Taylor
In the Bold and the Beautiful recap for Tuesday, January 6, 2026, Daphne wants to say au revoir to L.A. as Carter considers his commitment, and Deacon and Sheila can’t stay away from Taylor, and Katie offers Deke a chance to have an opportunity at Logan.

Taylor was taken aback when Sheila showed up unannounced again at her office. Taylor said that she didn’t like how unpredictable Sheila was and that she ignored boundaries.
Sheila told Taylor that she wasn’t a perfect person, but Deacon made her better, and she didn’t ever want to lose him. Taylor made it clear that Deacon was her patient and she wouldn’t discuss him with her.
At the Il Giardino bar, Deacon and Bill continued to hang out and get along. Deacon noted that their kids were married, and it seemed like Bill’s wife was offering his son a job. He thougth they’d be around one another for a while.
Bill told Deacon to just keep his crazy wife away from his family, and all would be good. Bill told Deacon he was impressed at how he’d turned his life around. Bill was interested in investing, but not with Sheila involved.
At a table at the restaurant, Katie wondered if she and Deke were kindred spirits in the way that they felt the same when leaving Forrester Creations. Deke told Katie how Hope loved his designs, but he was axed because of Forrester nepotism.
Katie said she knew all about that, and it wouldn’t happen at Logan. She asked Deke to have a meeting where he could present his work and apply to work with her. Bill returned and said he might be investing in the restaurant business.
Deke went back to work, and Sheila approached him. She told him that she knew he didn’t care for her but that she truly loved Deacon. Deke said that Sheila keeping it a secret about Luna put a lot of people’s lives in danger.
Sheila pleaded her case about how she regretted it, and promised Deke that no matter what, she was never going to let Deacon go.
Meanwhile, Deacon left to see Taylor and told her she had a beautiful smile. Taylor made his dash when she said that Sheila had just been there. Taylor and Deacon discussed how Sheila still credited Taylor for her marriage still existing but they both knew that wasn’t true.
Deacon shared that he might be expanding his restaurant. Taylor was encouraging and told him that she believed in him. She advised him to put his past in the past and believe in himself, too.
Deacon asked Taylor if she thought Sheila could turn dark again. Taylor said she shouldn’t say it but she did find it impossible to discount everything Sheila had done and thought it was possible that she could do it again.
Taylor revealed she’d told Sheila that he was a remarkable man. She started to stumble over her words, so Deacon took her hand and asked her to tell him what she felt for him.
In the showroom, Daphne told Steffy that she belonged in Paris and it was time to move back. She thought she could work with Thomas from International there. Steffy was surprised, noting that she thought Daphne had fallen in love with Carter.
In the CEO’s office, Carter told Ridge that he needed to do something to prove to Daphne that he cared for her and appreciated her. He shared how she knew that he and Hope wouldn’t work out, and he wanted to thank her for being invested in their relationship long before he was.
Carter said he’d been looking for “the one” for a long time and thought that Daphne was it. Ridge agreed that she could be, much to Carter’s surprise. Steffy came in and told them that Daphne was going back to Paris.
