QUOTABLES

These are just a sampling of favorite quotes for the year!

“You could find a freezer full of heads in the basement, and you’d still go on about what a good man Drew is.” – Nina to Willow

“You are a greedy man. And an ass. You are a greedy ass.” – Ava to Ric

Valentin: “It’s freezing out there.”

Carly: “There are blankets in the shed.”

Valentin: “Those are tarps, and I didn’t escape from Steinmauer to freeze to death in

                    plastic.”

“You know I don’t endorse violence of any kind, but Drew does have a very punchable face.” – Stella to Curtis

“Hades [the horse] hates everyone, except for Tracy. I think she reminds him of home.” – Cody

Ava: “Well, unfortunately, your daughter doesn’t share your impeccable decorum.”

Liesl: “Ah, Britta flunked finishing school twice.”

“I swear my back goes into spasm just being in the same room as Tracy Quartermaine.” – Martin, complaining about Tracy’s presence at the Metro Court restaurant

Willow: “Well, my instincts…”

Alexis: “Have led you to a meticulously documented series of really bad decisions that

                 have landed you here.”

“Yeah, well, unfortunately, morals and the law don’t always work in tandem.” – Ric to Emma & Gio

“Actually, I thought she was more of a poisoner, but I guess that would take too long.” – Tracy, referring to Willow possibly shooting Drew

Drew: “And you were paid good money to stay away.”

Jacinda: “Was that taxpayer money?”

“Thank you, but I have a really nice relationship with the Lord, okay?” – Ronnie, mistaking Drew for some kind of evangelist at the door

“And for God’s sake, woman, don’t do anything that could make things worse.” – Ava to Nina, who was trying to figure out something she could do to exonerate Willow (I feel like Ava spoke for the entire viewing audience when she said this.)

Britt: “You shot him! Why would you do that?”

Sidwell: (quizzical look) “Uh, I took your advice and cut him loose.”

Britt: “That lunatic strapped a bomb to my ankle.”

Pascal: “It wasn’t personal. Actually, it was. You are very, very annoying.”

“Usually, you’ll hear roaring wind and howling wolves right before he arrives.” – Nina to Jacinda about Drew

“I think that Drew could rile the Dalai Lama up into a homicidal rage.” – Brook Lynn

“I have you saved in my phone as ‘don’t answer’ for a reason.” – Alexis to Ric

Jason: “You were pretending to be dead, so I can see why you didn’t reach out.”

Britt: “Sense of humor. That’s new.”

“Oh, Drew, I’m so sorry. I’m fresh out of ketamine. You’ll have to hit up your local vet.” – Tracy’s greeting to Drew at the courthouse

Cody:“I knew that she wasn’t a saint, but I had no idea how downright lethal she was. She shot Mama Q!”

Kristina: “Well, if it helps, she was trying to shoot someone else.”

Cody: “Uh, it does not help. Not to mention, she – she also killed Mama Q’s cousin. And that was definitely on purpose. Look, Ava’s hot, but you’re asking me to seduce a murderer…If you want me to be the Clyde to her Bonnie, then I’m going to need some hazard pay.”

“Oh, my heart bleeds. Yeah. As we used to say on Cellblock #4, she had it coming.” – Martin’s response to Laura telling him that Tracy has her own upheaval to deal with (I always love me a good reference to a classic musical – Chicago.)

“…as you know, matrimony and I are no longer speaking.” – Martin explaining why he didn’t initially say congratulations to Drew for his engagement to Willow

“Ava has never met a martini she didn’t want to swim in.” – Kristina advising Cody about how to seduce Ava

“I don’t know anyone who can get under people’s skins the way Drew can. And, I work all day with prisoners and other lawyers.” Molly to Michael about Drew

“I can’t let him die on my living room floor. What would Molly say?” – Alexis to Ava about Ric

“Can you believe Ava had one of these in her glove compartment?” – Alexis to Ric about the ball gag they were using to keep him quiet

“Well, I assume my mother explained to you your current circumstances? How you’ve earned yourself this nice little staycation here.” – Kristina to Ric, who was bound and gagged in Alexis’s basement

“She wasn’t imprisoned by the useless social niceties that paralyzed many women.” – Liesl describing Britta to Rocco

“I will suck it up and be polite. We will consider it my wedding gift.” – Liesl to Elizabeth about being nice at Willow & Drew’s wedding

Elizabeth: “Did you say something uncelebratory? You promised you would be good.”

Liesl: “And you promised me an open bar.”

Elizabeth: “At the reception, not in the church.”

Liesl: “So you proved to be untrustworthy once again.”

“Thou shalt not be willfully ignorant in the Lord’s house, Ric. He might just smite you for lying.”Ava, not believing Ric about his feelings for Elizabeth

Alexis: “I thought they hated each other.”

Kristina: Well, sometimes, that’s a kink.”

Alexis: “I’m going to stop you, right there.”

– Alexis & Kristina talking about Drew and Nina sleeping together

“I’m sorry that my basement lacks the amenities of the panic room you built to have Carly stashed in.” – Alexis to Ric after he said it was inhuman to hold him captive in the basement

“It’s hard enough keeping Ric locked up in the basement while Molly is staying here. You want Scout to go exploring and find Molly’s father captive down there with a ball gag in his mouth?” – Kristina explaining to Alexis why it would be a bad idea to have Scout stay with them at the house

“I see the light bulb going off over your horns.” – Alexis to Ava, who had an idea about how to deal with Elizabeth and Willow regarding Ric’s absence

Britt: “There’s no good reason I’m not practicing medicine.”

Portia: “You faked your own death.”

Britt: “It’s not like I was on call at the time.”

“Oh, Charlotte and I were just having a light-hearted conversation about supermax prisons and intelligence agencies.” – Lulu to Laura

“His brain is in a jar!” – Brennan to Valentin, who almost made it sound like Faison could be alive

The Fiendish Facials Award

For this year’s Fiendish Facial Award, there is a three-way tie between Ava Jerome (Maura West), Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst), and Carly (Laura Wright). With these three ladies, if their mouths don’t say it, their faces surely will, which makes the scenes they’re in all the more entertaining!

The My Own Worst Enemy Award

It was a dead heat between Willow Tait, Portia Robinson, and Nina Reeves, but the photo finish proved Willow to be the winner. She should have a degree in destructive decision-making.

The Punchable Man Award

It will come as no surprise that Drew Cain is the clear winner of The Punchable Man Award. Drew has become so dastardly, he should come into every scene snickering while twirling his handlebar mustache.

The Throne of Lies Award

This year’s Throne of Lies Award goes to Portia Robinson. Many of Port Charles’s finest have a loose relationship with the truth, but Portia almost seems allergic to it. 2026 seems like it could be a year of change for her, though!

The Complex Queen Award

The Complex Queen Award undoubtedly goes to Tracy Angelica Quartermaine. Tracy is a force of nature. She is intelligent, acerbic, ruthless, fiercely loyal to her friends and family, manipulative, scheming, entitled, kind, and generous. She fights dirty, loves deeply, and is driven by a relentless need to protect what’s left of her family.
