The Young and the Restless Recap

At the main house, Victor told Adam he fully intended to personally go after Matt Clark. Adam wanted him to stay out of it and reminded him it wasnt’ that long ago that he was almost shot in that very room.
Victor called Nick, who was on stand-by at Sharon’s, and said that Adam was texting him the address of Matt’s location. Nick headed out, but Noah wanted to come with him. Nick said no way.
Noah pleaded his case on why he needed to go with Nick until Sharon interrupted. She told Nick they were wasting precious time and that she and Noah were going with him.
Sienna told Noah everything that happened as Sharon made her something to eat. When Sharon came in, she said that they needed something to eat and some rest now that the nightmare was over.
In the motel room, Matt sat on the bed next to a sleeping Sienna and lamented how she cheated on him. When Sienna woke up he filled her in on what she missed. She told him that she always wondered if he’d care.
Sienna pointed out that he traveled and went to clubs all the time and let women throw themselves in front of her. She thought that he brought it up on himself, but also wondered why he never shared his feelings like that before.
Matt didn’t think he had a choice. “We always have a choice,” Sienna said. She told Matt they could fix it. “I loved you so much,” Sienna told him. She asked him to take off the handcuff keeping her tied to the bed so they could talk, but Matt tightened it instead.
Sienna tried everything to get Matt to change his mind. She told him that she knew now that he sold drugs as well as other things to make money, but it was over now, and they could start over. Matt told her the only thing that was over was her.
Sienna asked if Matt ever loved her and why he never told her the truth about his side businesses. Matt pointed out how he couldn’t trust her. Matt and Sienna argued, and she accused him of being obsessed with Sharon while pointing out that she hated him.
Sienna wondered why Matt thought he’d get away with befriending Noah and going into business with him. She wondered if it was all a setup to get her to have an affair so he’d have a reason to go after another Newman. They argued until she called him Mitch.
Matt interrupted Sienna. “Let me introduce myself. My name is Matt Clark, and that is bad news for you because I am just as bad as they say I am,” Matt growled.
A frightened Sienna tried to talk Matt down, but he was worked up about her relationship with Noah. Annie came in, and Sienna tried to appeal to her senses, to no avail. Matt undid Sienna’s handcuff, and Annie led her out at gunpoint.
Sienna tried the whole way to the car outside to get Annie to let her go. Before Annie put Sienna in the car, Matt tried to kiss Sienna for old time’s sake, but she bit his lip. “You drew first blood, but now we draw the last,” Matt seethed as he put his hands around her neck.
As Sienna fought Annie as she tried to get her in the car, SUVs screeched up, and two police officers jumped out, running towards them with guns extended. They ordered Matt and Sienna to their knees with their hands behind their heads. Sienna ran into Noah’s arms.
Nick and Sharon strolled over, and Nick berated Matt for not noticing the drone following him the whole time. Matt asked how many of the cops who were on the way were on his dad’s payroll. Nick grabbed Matt and hauled him off, snapping that Matt wasn’t going to jail just yet.
Back at Sharon’s, Noah told Sienna that she should be at the hospital getting checked out. Sharon watched as Sienna told Noah that thinking about him and his family is what kept her alive.
Sharon told Sienna that she understood what it was like to be trapped by a monster. She forewarned them that the adrenaline would wear off and the shock would set in, but reminded them that Matt did not win.
At the main house, Nick and the guard brought in Matt, who was undaunted by Victor, who told him he would have done better staying dead. Victor sucker punched him in the gut as Nick leaned in and told him that he was never going to come near any of them ever again.
Victor and Adam stayed at the house, and the guards went back to work. Adam complimented Victor’s punch and said he hadn’t seen Nick that worked up before. He noted that Nick deserved to be the one to end this. Victor agreed. He said that Nick would put an end to Matt once and for all.
Nick drove off with Matt in the backseat, wearing zipties on his wrists behind his back. He rambled, trying to get under Nick’s skin, and told him to ask Sharon who her favorite: Nick, his brother, or Matt.
As Matt rambled, he worked on getting the zip ties loose. Matt said that he knew that Nick wasn’t a killer and sarcastically told him not to change his nature. “Things are not going to go the way you have planned. They never do,” Matt mocked.
Matt continued to taunt Nick, distracting him as he twisted himself into a pretzel to get his hands in front of him. Still bound by the zipties but with his arms no longer behind his back, Matt grabbed Nick around the neck, choking him while the car swerved.
