At the beach house, Dylan told Electra and Will how grateful she was for the apartment. She told Electra how kind her boyfriend was, and she was happy for her. Electra was taken aback when Dylan threw her arms around Will and hugged him.
Electra went with Dylan to move in, and chatted to her about moving out again soon after she gets a job. Dylan didn’t know how she’d repay Will, but Electra told her it was simple. Respect his kindness — and that Electra was his girlfriend.
Dylan reminded Electra that she only agreed to stay there because Electra said she would as well. Content, Electra left, but Dylan then watched Will from her window as he was on the deck below in just board shorts.
At Forrester Creations, Brooke and Ridge couldn’t believe Katie wouldn’t back down. Carter told them that he couldn’t find any information that proved Bill did anything offside, and that it seemed like Katie legitimately had the use of the Logan name for her company.
Carter went to a meeting, and Ridge told Brooke that he understood Brooke wanted Katie to succeed, but realistically, they both knew she’d never be a fashion mogul. Ridge told Brooke that she didn’t deserve anything that Katie said to her.
Ridge said that this whole fashion thing wouldn’t work out for Katie, and she’d be humbled, and then she and Brooke could go back to being sisters. Ridge insisted that Katie knew nothing about fashion and would fail.
At Spencer, Bill and Katie talked about their meetings with Ridge and Brooke. Katie was more determined than ever to prove them both wrong about her and her plans for the fashion house.
Bill pumped up Katie’s confidence, assuring her she had his full support and that he believed in her. He had to go to a meeting, but told her not to let Brooke get in her head. Katie immediately had Brooke’s words of her saying she’d probably fail haunt her.
In flashbacks, Katie recalled Brooke telling her that she’d lived her life wishing she were Brooke, saying that she would fail, and being in bed with Bill. Katie looked stressed and unsure, but suddenly stood up and paced the office.
“I can do this…I can,” Katie told her. She envisioned a Logan fashion show where clothes slipped, and Brooke was laughing next to the runway. Bill returned and found his wife distraught. She told him about her nightmare of a daydream.
Bill sat down and told Katie that Logan would be a success because of her and that there was nothing she couldn’t do. He fully believed in her and didn’t care what anyone else thought because they were wrong. Katie thanked him for being her rock and for saying what she needed to hear at just the right moment.
