About Us
About The Soap Scene
At The Soap Scene, we don’t just cover soap operas — we live them. Like most of you, daytime drama is in our DNA, and we believe the genre deserves passion, respect, and smart, engaging coverage.
Our writers are true soap fans first. We’re real, North American professional writers, but we’re also actual viewers who grew up with daytime drama — and yes, we still tune in daily.
This site wasn’t created to farm clicks or bait with trends. It was built by people who genuinely love the genre and care about the stories, the characters, and the viewers who’ve kept soaps alive for decades.
Let’s be honest: soap fans can tell when coverage comes from sites that don’t understand the history, miss the nuance, or clearly aren’t watching at all. That’s not us.
We support the shows, writers, actors, and viewers who make daytime drama possible. It’s simple: The Soap Scene is about celebrating soaps — not exploiting them.
No fake fandom. No copy-and-paste coverage. Just authentic voices, real passion, and unapologetic love for the genre.
Whether you’ve been watching for decades or just discovered daytime drama, this is a space created by fans, for fans. Because soap operas deserve to be celebrated, championed, and talked about with the passion they inspire — and soap fans deserve coverage from people who actually watch.
